Always think of Eminem as a Michigander
I think he would take out Madonna
Has kenny G sold more than Nirvana?
Surprising that Ohio's highest selling act is a country act, for sure would have thought a rock n roller would have held that title

Oh yeah Kenny G is the man.
So over on BlueSky one of the current Music Challenges is cover songs regarding family for which I'm sort of drawing a blank except for the very obvious ones… So how about someone doing a cover of say Kacey Musgraves's "Merry Go 'Round" or "Family Is Family" and The Decemberists "Sons and Daughters". Well even among those doing covers of those on The YouTube, it's a steady stream of singer and acoustic guitar renditions. Seems like any of these could work with some Jangling Rickenbacker and some fuzz, but what do I know…
I did come across this fun cover of "Squeeze Box" done by Toots and the Maytals from an album which appears to have vanished called "Out here in the Fields" Legends of Reggae Celebrate The Who
https://youtu.be/n-pxjNVsSFw
and then there is the Taj Mahal / Keb Mo where "Squeeze Box" gets the Zydeco treatment. https://youtu.be/V8fxMHhrCdk

Toots is the man. Ain’t nothing he couldn’t make soulful and funky.
Spencer Bohren?
welp I just did something I have done since 2010 which to login into Last.fm, seeing as Qobuz kindly doesn't track each and everything I listen to. going to be handy for proving i did in fact spend all next year not secretly listening to Charli XCX, etc and being able to further embarrass myself with one of those nifty weekly 5x5 listening grids.

Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr performed "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (Reprise)" and "Helter Skelter" during a surprise reunion in London on Thursday night
It's not the Beatles without Pete Best and Stu Sutcliffe
