The mighty King Khan is starting his own label appropriately titled Khannibalism.  In cooperation with Ernest Jenning Record Co., the new label has big plans to unearth unique records, including an album featuring spoken words by William S. Burroughs and the avant-garde guitarist Bill Frisell. But c'mon. What else would you expect from a revivalist like King Khan? To celebrate and announce the label, King Khan has released a brand new track featuring Ian Svenonious from Chain & the Gang playing exclusively on Noisey. "Hurtin' Class" is a killer cut of funk-inflected punk (feautured in the film The Invaders scored by Khan) that will surely fit well on an experimental label like Khannibalism

and does song with Ian Svenonius
Hurtin class

what is not to love about this guy
I must listen, when that burroughs album, comes out.
Kurt vile, is the folk ghost of Jay reatard, and I love him.

@robfee: Pretty sure not every member of The Roots is necessary. I swear I saw one guy in the back just peeling an orange.

I would have went to see Dead Eye Dick. Pigface would have been my "miss" with Dee-Lite as a solid "meh."

Yes, from Philly.
94…yeah de lite was past their prime

pigface was the supperband with Reznor (pre NIN), Martin Atkins , Paul Barker, Albini, David Yow
Not sure who actually toured with them and how it was
also lot of the guys from The Mind is a Terrible Thing to Taste
which I loved

but the album, with all that firepower kinda sucked

only memorable thing was this credit
Percussion [Bodrahn, Doritos Bag] ? Atkins*

Edit…found this tid bit on wiki —-jules you could have joined in apparently

Live shows[edit]

Pigface concerts are characterized by high-energy performances. It is not unusual to see upwards of ten musicians on stage at any given time during a show. In addition, members of the audience have occasionally been invited on stage during the encore.
I liked all of Dee-lite's stuff….bet it was a fun show.
I saw dee lite at some rave way back when in the 90s, off of 495 somewhere, in a big field.  there was a stage and everything.  dc101 even talked about it.  lady miss kier was doing coke in front of everyone . . . allegedly.  I say that, because I did not see her do it, but was told by everyone, that she did.  the cops came and broke it up finally and some guy was crying because they took all his pot.
horrorcore…meh
is sad more than scary
