Musicological banter

I'm partly worried about podcasts. A few of my regular listens just went to "spotify exclusive", but I don't know how far that really goes

Before we go any further down this path, has anyone confirmed Qobuz is even a word that can be played in Wordle or is this all a giant scam?

It’s allowed in Fredle

P.s.  this is a merde joke…
Nils Lofgren has joined the revolution!

I have to wonder if Neil said to him “Nils you should pull your stuff…I will buy the pizza and that’s more than you are making from Spotify!!”

Update: Qobuz doesn't have podcasts.
Some asshats setup a NFT music site that’s little more than links to Spotify songs.. needless to say there are some seriously pissed off artists big and small

How are NFTs even still a thing… And I saw that the artist behind that Bored Ape malarkey isn’t even benefiting from the sale of those NFTs… the whole point of NFTs were the artists would benefit from their sale..

Hope all those tech bros are enjoying all the money laundering going on

ding!
One of asshats behind this is in 3rd Bass

I see they are trying whatever bullshit they are up to with songs from Coldplay, John Lennon, BTS and Minor Threat…. This will not end well

The hitpiece site is suddenly unavailable  ;D
Well, I got an ACTUAL NFT directly from ROB THOMAS because somehow I wound up on his email list. So there's that.
Looks like that sites scheme was to have  people bid on a song to have “sole ownership” just on that site… apparently for bragging rights and access to the artist  ::)

Hitpiece is basically bidding actual money to be the mayor of a song

Can the word "actual" really be used in conjunction with "NFT"?

who the hell sold you that load of malarkey??
So the hitpiece brain trust are doubling down… they put a new beta website and are claiming to be listening.. I’m sure some PR got paid well for this statement and oh my the responses

They also have the ire of David Lowry

Also business plan is apparently sell the NFT and see if the artist wanted a cut, if not they would refund the money, would take down anything by request and were expecting lawsuits as away of raising awareness.. oh a close relationship with Spotify  >:(
