Playing in Madrid…the two nights we're in Madrid.
The mention of this got me an earful about how stupid it is that a 50something man would care so much about live music. It's a speech I often get, despite the fact that I see far less live music than some of you lot.
Does this mean I'm not seeing Radiohead?

You have saved more than enough money on tickets over the past five decades to justify getting secondary market first row tickets. If your wife won't go, I'll fly over and join you. First beer is on me.
Is that the guy from Sparks?

Somehow he stayed under the radar in Arlington, but you have now outed him
So where would Radiohead play in DC? Merriweather? Cap one arena?
Two nights at Anthem would be sweet but numbers not enough even with $250 tickets.

Now this is a boardie friend!
"hutch" is a very busy individual taking time out from appearing with Gorillaz along with Anoushka Shankar, IDLES’ Joe Talbot, Johnny Marr, Trueno, Gruff Rhys, and Paul Simonon
The smart money would to buy whatever Morrissey has the rights to and then franchise The Smiths and allow regional versions of the band to exist like they did with 60s vocal groups.
or just handed everything over to Rick Ashley and his investment group.

I think the Smiths have missed their chance….their fanbase is aging out or dying. They could have been a massive moneymaker but didn’t happen. Not to mention the brand is tainted by perception- right or wrong- that Morrissey is a right wing loon and unmitigated prick.

but think of the endless competitions they could have between The Smiths a NCAA bracket tournament, a World Cup tournament…
Seth could host a MD The Smiths vs VA The Smiths to determine who has the right to plan DC.
I just threw up
At the pulp show…seen some oasis shirts…. What the heck do oasis and pulp have in common?????
