Goose Fans Possibly Exposed To Rabid Bats At Chicago’s Salt Shed

Could be the new IMP tag line…at least we don't have rabid bats

Also a tip from the cdc: A bat flying above you does not put you at risk for rabies.
If you haven’t watched the Mike Gordon Bass Rig Tour, you really should:

What song have you seen performed live most, regardless of artist?

Mine are fairly predictable:

27:
“Space”

26:
“Drums”

12:
No Children
This Year

10:
Comfortably Numb
Throwing Stones

9:
Another Brick in the Wall, Part 2
Uncle John's Band
Wish You Were Here

8:
Closer to the Heart
I Need a Miracle
Money
Playing in the Band
Subdivisions
Terrapin Station
The Spirit of Radio
Tom Sawyer
Up the Wolves

7:
All Along the Watchtower
Big River
Cassidy
“Drum Solo”
Minglewood Blues
Not Fade Away
Rocket Man (I Think It's Going to Be a Long, Long Time)
Run Like Hell
Tennessee Jed
Turn On Your Love Light
Wang Dang Doodle
YYZ
I have no way of actually computing this but it’s got to be either a Smashing Pumpkins or Dinosaur Jr song that they play every single show. So maybe Today or Freakscene.
Star Spangled  Banner - hundreds and hundreds

Born To Run - 80-something
Drums/Space are by far the most frequent - being in the hundreds.  I imagine "Not Fade Away" is possibly at the top of the list of real songs.  That's the song I saw the Dead play the most (26), so add in the bazillion offshoots and cover bands, that's probably up there.

Non-Dead contenders:
Losing My Religion (30+)
When I Go To The Beach (a couple dozen or so times)

Tractor Rape Chain probably

Or

Highway 61 revisited
probably "everything in its right place" or some other RH standard
without searching what genre is They Are Gutting A Body of Water
Gotta be post rock or shoegaze or something, right?  Oh, maybe some shitty screamo band?

they are a shoegaze band from Philly definitely on the noisier side of that genre

it was kinda of funny when I looked them up and saw they were a shoegaze band and thought that tracks

Ted Leo now handling guitar duties for the final run of Gang of Four shows…  Gail Greenwood (L7 and Belly) had already been announced as being on bass.. Joining of course Jon King and Hugo Burnam
Looking a thread of information on New Order's "Blue Monday" and specifical what influenced Hooky's bass which includes "Few Dollars More" theme.  But, also mentioned is a song by Gerry and the Holograms recorded in Manchester in 79, which some say created the blueprint.

Here is that Self Titled song - https://youtu.be/hUzv9XEhNTQ

Haven't gotten through this video but they are pulling together all the influences involved in Blue Monday "This deconstruction reveals all, including drums from Donna Summer, bass from Sylvester, keys from Klein & MBO and voices from Kraftwerk"  The first5 or so minutes they run through the influences and the rest is them building the track up

"I'm afraid I will wind up going to the new NIN show, and Trent Rezner will be wearing a cardigan and slacks."

There is, right now, a punk band from Chicago called Ira Glass and a post-rock band from San Francisco band called Terry Gross
Someone needs to bring them together for the most confusing and misleading tour of 2025
You could add Been Stellar as special guest.. h/t Ben Stiller
