Yancey died on February 10, 2006, at his home in Los Angeles, three days after his 32nd birthday and the release of his final album, Donuts.

Now had I DJed Durand Jones I would have definitely dropped September in the mix.

And I did finish up last minute What Would Kosmo Spin (WWKS) playlist.  Several partial playlists came together

I was today years old when I learned MOZ and Billy Duffy were in a Manchester punk band called the Nosebleeds
Only a few live gigs with this lineup, but one was covered by the NME

(also other lineups included Vini Reilly (the Durutti Column), and Toby Toman (Primal Scream).)

His punk background seems to be a source of shame and one he has continued to deny over the years rather than admit and talk freely about. Unfortunately, there is no footage from the Morrissey era of The Nosebleeds

The CEO is exactly right and if Jack Antonoff were a touring musician he might care about someone looking out for his interests but as a he is not, I applaud his grabbing of so many cool, internet-cred points for saying "please pay us less for this thing that brings you such joy."

Last night the country-rock star performed at Michigan Stadium — aka the Big House — in Ann Arbor, the Western Hemisphere’s largest stadium which is typically reserved for University Of Michigan football.  Bryan brought in a record-breaking crowd of over 112,000 spectators.

We were open to concerts but we could not sell alcohol in the stadium until the last year because of a state law. Economically did not make sense for promoters absent being able to sell booze.
