Onyewu looked good while his team did not. I thought he even made Bramble look better, until Bramble clumsily tackled Helgerson and should have been sent off (Soccernet incorrectly reported that it was Onyewu, rather harshly I might add, when it was in fact Bramble).
His massive size is going to turn some heads in the Premiereship. He definitely pushed some folks around.

i listened to some of it on the internet, and it was the fulham feed. announcer was all over duff for diving. bramble is so terrible, and carr isnt much better. how they get put in there above solano and either huntington or edgar is nuts
if both of them play against 'pool it will be a bloodbath

God's Shoeshine correctly noted
Carr isn't much betterCarr was flicked away without much effort by Papa Bouba Diop to set up McBride's goal. It really was like a boy against a man on that one. Just silly.

Here's a few for you…..
SCUM
TWATS
SHYTE
FILTH
MAGGOTS
No matter who owns them, ther're still, and always will be, LIVERSCUM.
Bressner….ROI are not only suffering from a manager who is desperately out of his depth, they are also starving for talent at the moment, and probably will be for a few years I'm afraid. Just enjoy watching your rugby team sweep everyone aside…..I'm tempted to have a little flutter on them for the world cup.

I don't know which is funnier…Toon winning or scum losing.
And what's this about the Colorado Arsenal??? Shouldn't they have linked up with a French team so their whole squad could go home for lunch every day?????

the epl has such a hardon for america, makes sense for le arse to try and get in. no offense, but they are the least hated of the big 4 among other supporters

….and may I take this opportunity to thank chelski for making Man Utd not the most hated team in the epl for the first time in……like……FOREVER!.
Nice to see arseholes squeaked out yet another one goal victory over a mid-table team…seems like they only get motivated when playing United.

of all the uefa cl games this week the most intriguing has to be the manchester-lille match. common sense would dictate that manchester is going to dominate, since they are a lot better this year in addition to the fact that lille is having a down year. but then again, looking at the 4 previous games between the two teams(1-1-2), i wouldnt be surprised if this is an upset in the making.

With Barcelona's recent poor performance, I am afraid Liverpool has a good chance of sending us home after this round. I hope Etoo is back, Messi will surely play both games, that's the only good news after losing to Valencia yesterday.
