Good thing the bar two blocks from my place is an official USMNT location to watch games (and a DirecTV subscriber…).

Yeah see I just don't want to watch the games at a bar.. .I know Summers will show them but so what..
Seems refs have chelksi blindness again this season when it comes to offsides.
@SoccerInsider: Comcast has agreed to pick up beIN Sport but might take several weeks to roll out across all markets, spokesman says

Smackie RT @Comcast: in HD? @SoccerInsider: Comcast has agreed to pick up beIN Sport but might take several weeks to roll out across all markets

My friend who works at Comcast tweets me back:  I don't even know we bother attempting to please you. It's impossible.

Group D for DEATH!!

As for United….ditto. I just said that to a coworker/chelksi supporter. As for his team, even he admits his team can't defend their way to the final two years in a row.

Supposedly BEin is paying Comcast to carry the channel for the first year.
falcao is unreal
So…..any games of interest over last weekend??

;D
This morning's text conversation.

Brother in Law: Vidic had surgery on The same knee. 8 weeks at least
Smackie: Shit
Brother in Law: I think Fuck is more appropriate
Smackie: But then what will I say when hes out for the season?
Brother in Law: Good point. Maybe "there's always next year"

After watching Wednesday and Sunday, it's going to be a long season…
SAF will probably buy another striker in the January window as cover for Vidic, Jones, Smalling and Ferdinand. (Where's Mr. Versatile, O'Shea, when you need him?)

Toon army surrendered to the red army without even putting up so much as a fuss.
(I know, I know…the first 10-15 mins of second half I thought it was going to be exciting but then they fizzled again)
pretty much can give up all hope of a result with collo out, at least until krul comes back

unreal that we didn't spring for a defender in the summer
This is exactly what I expected when I woke up yesterday:

Arsenal 0 - 2 Schalke
Malaga 1 - 0 AC Milan
Ajax 3 - 1 Manchester City
Dortmund 2 - 1 Real

Ok, maybe it's just what I hoped would happen.

This of course makes City the favorite to win the league again.

Naw - United have quality in depth to challenge on all fronts this year. Just as long as we get our backs healthy again soon and keep them healthy.

The edge we have is our bench are not egotistical prima donnas like those on shitty's bench. They are quality players who understand that rotation is not demotion.
Discuss?
