On the Eve of the new Season...

no clue why bolton/wolves is on fsc+. cant believe that our match isnt even on delay. of course i cant even watch it at work. awful
Gary Neville just retired with immediate effect.

He's been really poor lately so I'm not surprised.
He never was the fastest and now even I could keep up with him.

He's been a loyal and solid fullback for Utd and England. Plus being a born and bred manc like myself, he fucking despises pikeypool so he's alright in my book.
just keeps getting better
Interesting weekend………no?

His career is done now he's at Scumfield….
john henry is skilled at magic, apparently
"We have a unique skill-set at Fenway, and it is perfectly suited to breaking what they call curses'', he said. ''We had an 86-year drought at Boston for winning a World Series."

"We did that, and we have a 20-year drought for winning the first division at Liverpool. Liverpool has never won a Premier League.

"There was a very strong feeling amongst us that we were uniquely qualified to break the 'curse'. Even though we didn't know the sport, we knew the sports business and knew what it takes to put together a sports organisation."

Kind of a misleading calculation but still interesting in it's own right.

Real keeps half of any sponsorship deal it's players sign.  That's a huge advantage over other clubs…

That's what happens when you play for a socialist government owned team. On the bright side they'll never go into administration!!  :D

You're on live on Fox Soccer Plus at 10am.  If they replayed that on FSC nobody would buy the Plus channel.

More interesting is that the 4:45am game is NOT on ESPN2 and thus not in HD for most of the country.  Oh, that would be the Manchester Derby.
weird, i swear they had brum/stoke on the schedule when i looked for it last night

edit: liverpool/wigan, not brum. still says it on the dtv app. weird
Can I ask a really stupid question here. (yes, another!)

I don't have HD because I don't really feel I need it. The picture is fine on regular telly for the most part except for live EPL games, then it gets kind of bleary. Is that just due to live transmission or are they doing it intentionally to get you to upgrade to HD?

I wouldn't put it past those bastards at Comcast.

Is this in regards to Fox soccer because I have noticed the same (I don't have FSC in HD).  If this is about ESPN2 I can't help you because I have it in HD.
