yeah, quite a shock, and although I'm happy to be proven wrong, much like the Gibbs return here in DC (except Keegan never really won anything first time round) it will probably all end in tears again….

i'm not shocked so much as…disappointed i guess. i'll support king kev and all, it just seems a tad short sighted in my opinion. i suppose more details could adjust my thoughts

But those were back in the iron age, and I don't think you need to polish iron…

hahaha, that was actually a good one. and i thought i've seen every 'you've won fuck all in 39/52 years' zinger
usually those comments on the internet come from supporters of clubs that have never played in the champions league though

This cracked me up…
The truth the soccerphobes refuse to face Some Americans regard soccer as the devil's spawn. In reality it is as much a part of their nation as mom's apple pie Soccer is a slow, boring, low-scoring, meaningless, super-sucky pseudo-sport played exclusively by lesbians, small children and homosexual Nazi psychopaths with bad haircuts. And terrorists. Children who play soccer all grow up to be "asshole incompetents" and "knock-kneed milksops" and "flopping on the ground, writhing-in-pain homos". Soccer is being forced on the American people by the sinister "global elite" secret world government. Soccer, in short, "sucks bat-shit off cave walls". And did we mention that it's gay?

Last Sunday I took my son to get his haircut….we had a 20 minute wait so started to watch the Chargers Colts game that was playing on the bigscreen in the hairdressers. In 20 minutes we saw three plays…yes, three plays in twenty minutes. The majority of the time was spent watching two whole teams trot off the pitch and two whole different teams trot on. Then the referee would have a conference call with all the other 50 refs then proceed to turn on his microphone and explain to the dumb fucks watching what had just happened. What? They still had no idea what just happened even after 35 instant replays?
Call soccer boring, stupid, gay (I admit, the faking injury and diving pisses me off too) whatever…..but if you watch that shit you have no right calling it 'slow'.

i've been to a steelers game in a blizzard before but this weekend is going to be crazy
i like alot of sports, but soccer's lack of action stoppage and commercials is pretty great. its really not worth arguing about
