On the Eve of the new Season...

6-0

some are already calling it the best performance ever by a british club in europe…..not that pool fans would ever agree with that
god I hate chelski
Finished 7-1. Truly remarkable.

As good as I've seen United in years. Darren Fletcher was as good as I've ever seen him, reminiscent of, dare I say it, Roy Keane in the holding midfield position. Fletcher and Smith never stopped chasing the ball…

Whether you got in a fight or night, if you support Roma and were in Manchester today, you left with a sore head and a sick stomach.

3-0 3-0 Only 20 minutes gone, and here's me at work. I hope some kind soul on this board is recording it on dvd and will take pity on poor old mank stuck here in 'rainy'…yes 'rainy' west palm beach!! I'll pay for postage.
Gladly Sir! I might even spare you the Tommy Smyth and Derek Rae commentary and get you the English broadcast.
Another plus is the Salford lads won't have to seek revenge on the Italians because they'll be emotionally kicked to hell after suffering through that bloodbath.

I can't believe chelski score with literally the last kick of the game yet again. I really think they'll come unstuck against Liverscum though. United V Liverscum in Athens, as long as United don't look past Bayern Munich because that's a tough contest.

It will be Owen Hargreaves auditioning for United the way Becks auditioned for Real Madrid a few years ago….
I am going for a Liverpool - Manchester United final. Don't like italian teams (especially the two from Milan) and I continue to dislike Mourinho. It is too tough not to see one's team in these stages of the Champions League.

a good solid win after the nirvana of tuesday night - I am getting very concerned that the injuries are piling up, esp at the back with so many impt games coming up

I just can't see Owen at OT so didn't pay much attention when I first read that rumour…..that boy is more fragile than a lladro anyway.

this link is now working. Lots of debate whether this goal might be better than Maradona's in 1986 against England.
