DOUCHE!!!

I don't like Mou one bit but even if he has had big and stacked teams he's still been largely effective in the big situations… also lets not forget he had to make his name somewhere at the beginning…His record with Porto was something else..

I agree, my point is he's not 'the special one'. He's just good, like all managers at the top level. (Except Benitez, Who is crap)
I find him much more entertaining than the style of football his teams on the pitch display.

But don't you think he just makes statements to make headlines sometimes? He's a media whore.

Morono or Guardiola to replace SAF???

I know who I would choose….Not even a contest.

Hutch, good that you mention Mourinho's days in oporto. after all his complains throughout the year the same things he complains about are starting to turn against him.

I believe you speak spanish, read this article from a newspaper in Madrid (as you can imagine, this newspaper is far from being a Barça fan, but it would seem that people in Madrid are starting to understand the harm Mourinho is inflicting to the reputation of Real Madrid).  To me, he is a decent coach (as Mankie said, take him to a smaller team and see what he does without the money he got in Chelsea, Madrid or Inter) and worse yet, he is far from being a good human being.

"He is my friend (Es mi amigo)", suplicaba sin éxito el zaguero.

Exactly.

I also see him taking a lot of the Real media pressure off his players by being so outlandish.  Anybody who takes him seriously clearly has no sense of humor and should go back and look at how SAF handled him when he was in charge of Chelsea.  That is why there is so much mutual respect between the two.

It was a self appointed title and an absolutely brilliant strategy.

I remember SAF talking about how outlandish a statement it was but that it actually had an affect on the players at an otherwise mediocre club.  The players at Chelsea took notice and m,any of them played to more than just their potential because they actually believed it:

"I don't have much time left, he'd better hurry up," Ferguson joked. "I got on very well with him at Chelsea and I think it was a loss to the game when he went. I actually enjoyed watching him on the television. I thought he was good. He was cocky and confident but it was good for the game.

"Right away he came in and said, 'I'm the Special One', and we all thought, 'Who is this?' and his team thought, 'We'd better win here'. They got off to a start like nothing on earth and everybody was chasing their tail for the rest of the season and the next season, so we had to do something about it.

"He came to Chelsea and made that declaration himself. Don't forget he was self-anointed. People then sat up but his achievements are there to be recognised. We won it the final year that Jose was there and I think we were in the ascendancy then. We had to do something about Chelsea and we did it. We can't accept being second so you have to do something about it."

Most like a fine, like the West Ham/Tevez deal.

Mind you…you'd think Warnock would've learned after his Sheffield United ended up the real victims from the Tevez fiasco.
could be, but west ham got fined £5m before there was a rule. i've heard qpr might get 15 points deducted.

If that happened there'd be holy hell over it.
you can bet there will be holy hell either way…
They should get a hefty fine and points deduction but not enough to cost them promotion…and move on.

Hutch, I can understand a coach complaining about what he thinks is a bad decision by a referee.

However, leaking to the press that there is doping in FC Barcelona (making this thing up to deviate the attention of the players, press and public and try to reduce the difference in the table like this, quite sad) or saying that he would be ashamed if he were Guardiola after the champions league semifinals against Chelsea… this is beyond disagreement over a referee decision, it is bad and sad.

Not only he needs assistance to control his hatred against Barcelona, but he needs to understand that he is reviving the worst side of the rivalry during the franco days. But he does not care much about the consequence of what he says, he just thinks about himself. he is a sad human being.
