Can I ask a really stupid question here. (yes, another!)

I don't have HD because I don't really feel I need it. The picture is fine on regular telly for the most part except for live EPL games, then it gets kind of bleary. Is that just due to live transmission or are they doing it intentionally to get you to upgrade to HD?

I wouldn't put it past those bastards at Comcast.

Is this in regards to Fox soccer because I have noticed the same (I don't have FSC in HD).  If this is about ESPN2 I can't help you because I have it in HD.

FSC
Whatever FSC does to down-res the picture from HD to standard definition has made he SD picture look like a damn fishbowl.

The frustrating part is that it's not like I can get the HD picture because my cable company does not offer it.  F you Comcast.  I'm counting down the days….
Thoughts on the derby….

Best goal I have ever witnessed live on TV.

Certainly goal of the year!  Career?
I doubt you will ever see a better goal ever again. You can't coach that type of natural talent.

Nani's goal was also brilliant, the pass from Giggsy was just phenomenal, but it will be forgotten. If United go on and win the title Rooney's goal will be recorded in history as the goal that won them the title. I think it has sent out a message, loud and clear, to the rest of the title chasers that Rooney is back.

All I have to say is …….

HEY TEVEZ!!!!! WELCOME BACK TO SALFORD - WANKER!!!!
yeah both goals were fantastic

newcastle had one of their best games of the season, apart from finishing. good thing they didnt pick up another striker in january
Pretty much set the tone for my weekend.  Brilliant strike and I loved the pose….

Yeah - Rory has been copying that pose all weekend.
Gatusso head butted Joe Jordan!!  :o He obviously doesn't know who Joe Jordan is eh?
i havent seen it yet. supposedly jordan's heckling of pardew was way over the top the last time newcastle played spurs though

pretty good win for the toon yesterday. on the road, both strikers scored from actual crosses and no reliance on set pieces. i'll take that any day

Ridiculous.  Gattuso was never intending to play in England in 2 weeks time. He tried desperately to get the yellow all match, and probably should have seen red.  I've never liked him as a person or in the opposition, but if he was on my team, I'd probably love him.

That being said, UEFA should come down hard on him for the after match altercation that he clearly provoked.

That's awesome!
Apparently Jordan called him a "f#$%ing italian bastard" which is probably the nicest thing I've ever called an eye-tie.

Simon, Berube, Kaminski, Sheehy and Langway, although nobody would drop the gloves with Langway.

Hockey always welcome on this thread imo.
