I debated those all night and decided Villa to win was the way to go.

thats what i thought. i've seen a few places report that sky sports news is saying that newcastle have announced that shay's not for sale at any price. not on their site yet, though
which means to me that shitty either wouldnt include johnson or pay silly money

Barton's injury didn't look that bad until I saw him chuck his boots down the tunnel…then I thought, hmmm, he must be hurt really bad.
You could always look at it as cost savings for the Championship next season….

theyd both be off in the summer anyway. ashley really wants to decrease the payroll, and joey makes £60k a week. owen's just one of the worst buys in prem history
the story going around is that even if they sell given and zogs, there will be no buys in january. i didnt think the toon would go down until last night, now i am certain of it
i couldnt see too many of our players sticking around for a year down below anyway

Strangest last few days for football news….
I guess I can start wearing my Keane kit again.
I guess the Russian football owners are a lot like the Russian government.
Doesn't anybody do deals over the phone anymore?
And lastly, that Red card to Lampard was one of the worst calls I've ever seen. Even the first time I saw it I thought Alonso was in trouble, which after seeing the video, I'm still shocked he wasn't. And how did they miss Bosingwa's stomp? Unbelievable. Regardless, the better team won.

i guess a draw was a fair result against scumderland yesterday. thought newcastle were the better side for most of the second half
so toon have MADE £10m in the window while battling relegation. just terrible management
'arrys been making some nice bungs though
everton really tried to park the bus against you guys. did van der sar even see a shot?

I really kind of thought that if Mike were healthy, you just trade him for Keane straight up. I guess your bosses needed the money…

haha, now you sound like a toon fan
the bad part is they leaked a bunch of promising leads to the press, so the fans are thinking that veloso, luis garcia or denilson on loan are going to come over and then end up with nowt. selling n'somnia i see, but selling given without spending it is shocking

That's pretty much what everyone has done to United this season (save Arsenal) since Sunderland almost earned a draw back in Dec. It's really made for some boring football.
Van der Saar will be credited for three saves, but in reality was only "tested" once, and even then it wasn't anything to see in a highlight reel.
So Quaresma to Chelsea and Arshevin to Arsenal…I just shrug mt shoulders at those two moves. I guess that means fabregas is heading to Madrid this off season.

The Cardiff Arsenal match has been canceled. No word on if Setanta will broadcast Burnley vs West Brom instead. If anybody hears definitively, let me know.
