so famous last words and I completely expect the FAI to fuck this up in their own inimitable style BUT it looks like Giovanni Trappatoni may be the next Ireland manager
seems like a decent hire given all the dead wood and retreads that have been bandied around for the last 3 months
and judging by this clip (rough although poor translation included) he could be just whats needed for those pampered, lazy, feckless fuckers who currently bring very little honour to the Irish shirt….
http://youtube.com/watch?v=Bqp64q7kHmw of course, the downside is after one or two games of seeing John O'Shea he may well have a heart attack!

I still think it's Beasley's job to lose, and he has little to worry about if Convey continues to play like that…
I really thought the outside fullbacks, especially Corrales, were the worst part of that match. And the central mid showed a lot of promise, but not until Feilhaber replaces the coaches son. He has the potential to be one of the best American footballer's ever.

I resisted the joke, but I'm glad that you did not.

convey had to stay in the u.s. to get some sort of injection. kid gets hurt so often. if you look at the u.s. roster, the fullbacks have like 10 caps between them or something crazy.
jozy has got to move to europe next year. right?

Good point, but you know what I meant. Just rack up the goals and hope they don't score as many at the other end.
As for the England v USA match…how can it be a warm up for Euro 2008???? America isn't in Europe, silly.
And just because England get an Italian coach Ireland have to get one as well…what's that all about?

Just a few weeks prior to the Euro 2008, I could not resist it with all the British fans in the board.
However, I am still far more interested in the Champions League than in the Euro.

Who will all the other fans and media hate with a passion now England aren't in it? It won't be the same without England.

Italy. I tend to dislike them a lot when it comes to national team.
