I don't care if goes or not either, but he is the most well paid "slave" I've ever seen.
Go if you want, just go soon so we can spread the new found resources around.

thats the problem though. when you have a big fish on the hook, you bleed them dry. manu have to get silly money from real, because the glazers didnt spend all that (borrowed) money to buy the second biggest club in the world. i really think that ronny got a little too billy big boots and overplayed his hand here. england really holds the clout over the club game at this point at least and real has less of play here than they would have even a couple years ago

Beckham offered the same advice.

i dont think £80 million even does it. when you come out and say 'i want a player on a team that doesnt need any money, but money is not an issue' your hand is shown. i bet the glazers (and sir alex) go for the nine digits.
would you be interested (from a supporters view) in robinho as partial payment?

I would demand 100million quid in a certified check…not this deferred payment b.s. Shove the little prick out the door and have him phone for his own taxi to the airport.
Then buy a handful of quality players who will compliment Rooney, who, without a doubt is a better (team) player than Ronaldo. Ronaldo is a show-pony. Just think how many more goals United would have tallied had he passed to the wide open player rather than shoot it into the side netting himself.
Mark my words, if he goes, like RVN we won't miss him much. It took us a good two seasons to get over Beckham leaving and he didn't score too many goals himself.

United Agree Fee on Berbatov? I'm still hoping we go Dutch: Huntelaar, Schneider, or Van Der Vaart. I would love Schneider…

schneider would be a candidate to move, assuming nonfat ron moves to real. the rumors were hot that robinho was going to be partial payment though
my thought is that huntelaar is never moving as he's had his choice of destination for a year and a half now. van der vaart might be a bit below manusa

Chelskzzz are no threat….you can only have so many egos in 1 locker room before a team implodes. Why do you think Drogba and Lampard want out? Plus, Dr. Phil Scolari…just what has he actually achieved? My mother could coach Brasil to a world cup final, and he didn't exactly set the world on fire with Portugal now did he?

Seems like I'm talking to myself on this thread, but what's new?
I bet Sparky Hughes is a little peeved at taking the shitty job. He would've been a shoo-in for SAF's assistant with the prospect of becoming Fergies replacement as numero uno in a few years.
My gut feeling is Keano will get his experience at Sunderland then take over at OT down the road.

I have thought this from the beginning (I'm sure I'm on record here as saying it too).
And I love
Wesley Sneijder. His comments on nonfat Ronaldo are perfect - sell Ronaldo, take Schneider as partial payment and bring Van Der Vaart to OT with him. That's a squad I would love to watch.

Ronaldo has put himself in an awkward spot now over this fiasco…United players will resent him and Madrid players don't really want him. No matter what happens he will have a negative effect on either locker room. I bet they'll have to pull Gary Neville off him because that guy lives, eats and breathes for United.
Personally, I just want him gone at this point. I wanted him gone after the Rooney incident during the world cup, but now I
REALLY want him gone. Just like RVN, Staam and Becks before him - no one player is bigger than the whole.
