I really do want your thoughts on FC United of Manchester.  I was rather entetained.

Some in Manc just got a new puppy, it's all cute and cuddly, and gets loads of attention right now, but after a while they'll get sick of it and it will be left out to fend for itself…….

Haha.  Nice. Fair point considering how GAWD AWFUL he was against Wolves.  I think he'll be back in the middle for a while after that performance - I've never seen anything so bad..

It's good to have you back, Manc.

I'm following the game on manutd.com matchtracker and just spit my coffee all over my keyboard courtesy of the following comment regarding Evra coming off.

"He's taken his gloves off, it must be serious"

You didn't watch it on ESPN3.com?

The midfield were great today.  But yes, two defenders went down…
does espn3 still demand your isp login or something weird?

i listened to the toon match on the radio at work. sounded like we were better apart from two terrible mistakes. no clue why newcastle can be so good on the road and so shocking at st james park
he should get a ban sure

but pederson sure made a lot of it

ESPN3 just checks to see who your ISP is via IP address and if your ISP is a participating ISP, then your good.  A list of providers can be found here.

IF you have access at home, but not at work, then you can login via remote access from the ESPN3 site and sync you ESPN account with you home ISP and you'll be granted access (assuming your work doesn't block it).
freddy adu's career just gets worse and worse..

http://sports.yahoo.com/soccer/news?slug=ap-randers-adu

is there a controversy about when he was born? wikipedia now says 89 or 86
hmmmmmm - Back when he first hit the scene with DC United I seem to recall a certain mancunian make a remark on the lines "naw, this kid is nothing" Does anyone remember who that may have been?

;)

In fairness to Adu, I think MLS tried to make him the poster child for the new and improved MLS when he just wasn't good enough.

On a similar subject, were do you think the MLS is compared to England today. A good few years ago I put them at around Division 2 but now I'd put it at a level of bottom half of the Championship and top half of division 1…..thoughts?
as far as skill and such i think that's about right

but its not the same kind of grinding pressure on players. no relegation, half the teams get a crack at the championship, ect. travel and weather are rougher i suppose
hey smackie/mankie

youre welcome
