Both goals were scored where Vidic would normally be. And as if it couldn't get worse, Rio limped off. Eesh.

Not to worry, United have depth this season (for a change) I can't see them letting it slip away this late in the season, and rumour has it Cech was involved in a fight on the practice field with an unnamed player so Chelski are in a bit of a turmoil right now…I can honestly see them going out on Tuesday. Goals don't come easy for them and Fenerbache will just field 9 defenders and shut up shop.

Arse are just too far away to chase the premiership and seem to be losing their nerve so I can see Liverpool going through.

His face was rebroken and he's out for at least two weeks.

Yeah, who are these Newcastle players and what did you do with the team that was outscored by United in double digits?

Evidently Lampard was told Cech stole his pork pie from his locker so all hell broke loose!!!

Seriously, I was lurking on the chelski fanboard on the BBC and read it was a fight…not sure who punched him but they thought it was Drogba. Not exactly a reliable source but just thought I'd report what I read.

It was certainly not as bad as last weeks take down in the box that did not go Arsenal's way.

Helluva match though.

soooooooooooooooooo was Wes Browns take down a penalty?

Actually, I'll answer that.

In the EPL it's not and the striker gets a yellow for embelishment but in the gay european game it is. It was just poetic justice he sent it skyward.

A solid display by United who were always in control of the game, even when Roma got a bit of momentum United never looked troubled.

Good to see Nev back in the team though….and do you think Rio's 'injury' was just a bit of gamesmanship on the part of Fergie? He limped off at half time, was not subbed and played as solid as ever. Hmmmmmmmm, it makes you wonder.

Hargreaves was definatley man of the match and Park a close second.
Barcelona could not arrive to the semifinals in a worst situation, both in terms of the quality of the football displayed by the team and in terms of the sitation within the institution.

And now missing Puyol for the first game. add to this that Ronaldinho and Deco have been left out of the team until the end of the season, when they will be sold to someone crazy enough to get two players no longer interested in the game. Messi is our only option now that he will be recovered from the latest injury.

I give Barcelona a 20% chance of making it to the final.
