that's unreal barca.
On the Eve of the new Season...
Nice one Barca…and I hope your trip is an unhappy one!!! ;)
Well….it wasn't even close at the top of the EPL when all said and done. Exciting finish at the other end though. I'm gutted the seasiders went down though.

What a rough 45 minutes that was for them…
For 15 minutes they thought they were up, then another 15 on the brink and then the last 15 they knew they were relegated. Just brutal.
We REALLY don't need this Giggsy distraction right now.
you guys just couldn't let blackpool stay up, eh?
jerks

I know…I would gladly have thrown that game if I was SAF.
I REALLY wanted Wolves to go down. McCarthy is a prick and Wolves are my father-outlaws team for some unkown reason….Have yet to figure out the connection between Cork, Ireland and Wolverhampton, England.
David de Gea set to complete £17 million United move
He's good. But I worry about how young he is to be given the #1

SAF must see something in him that the rest of us don't….or it's a train wreck waiting to happen. (Bosnitch and Massimo or whatever they were called).
Hopefully he can mature in the next couple of months because I don't think he currently has the leadership qualities that a goalie needs to organize the defence.
As for 'the game' on saturday. The only way United is going to win is to shut Barca down and score on the counter, which will mean a boring game. United are not going to be able to beat them at their own game. Give them space and we're doomed from the get-go.
Tight marking and let Rooney roam and we might nick it….weird being the underdog eh?

I'm really surprised they didn't either (1) sign Maarten Stekelenburg or (2) sign de Gea earlier to learn from Van der Saar.
I just can't see him moving from Athletico and not be given the #1, though I would like to see him get some tutelage from a veteran for a year or two.

There is only one Terry Cooke. Ha ha.

Yeah….should probably spend the interest they've earned on the 80m they sold Ronaldo for right? No point giving it to the tax man eh?
BTW - United are doomed…Mark Lawrenson just tipped them to win on Saturday.
what pleasure watching barcelona
Barca are just too good
^true, but van der sar had a sub par performance on a couple of occasions…
nevertheless, Barca was the better team and they deserve the win…

Van Der Sar retired at half time. Chicarito should've been replaced by Owen at half time and Scholes should've started instead of Carrick.
Not saying that would've changed the end result but we would most certainly have put up more of a fight.
Barca are deservedly the Champions of Europe.
