On the Eve of the new Season...
i contend that roeder's fate was sealed when he was unable to land babel last year. not sure how i feel about that
Originally posted by vansmack:I have absolutely no, none, zilch, zero sympathy for them..with their squad they could put out two premiership teams, both in contention for champs league spots, so if they can't sort their egos out and start playing then tough titty!!!
When it was over I was quite happy Ryan Babel didn't play the entire 90 minutes. He would have found the back of the net for sure.
Mank, you were one Rooney gaff and one Peter Cech gaff away from correctly predicting both socres. Nicely done.
And in case you all missed it, Terry broke three bones and is out for nearly two months. No Drogba, no Terry, no Essien, no Kalou, no Mikel, no Makalele (oh wait, France moved his family to the mainland, nevermind). That's a team in trouble through February.

Originally posted by god's shoeshine:I'm not going to believe it until I see it, but they both list it. I thought it was weird too.
wonder how the man u/neverton match got on both channels
i usually go through the channel guide to set up my dvr recordings on sunday, and both channels definitely had it listed. what ought to be most interesting is if they have the same feed
So, who would you make England Captain?
owen ;)
Originally posted by god's shoeshine:I said captain, as in on-field captain…. not head cheerleader from the treatment room.
owen ;)
my bad. steve taylor, then ;)
in all seriousness, john terry is a dick, and i kind of think gerrard isnt a lock to start…
