Chris Issak last night was fantastic. I can't believe he's almost 60. If anyone is going tonight, you're in for a treat. Definitely worth waiting over 20 years for that concert!
Babymetal was absolutely insane. 90 minutes of pure joy, and the crowd was a fascinating cross-section of fat ugly metalheads and cartoon-porn anime freaks.

And cartoon anime girl thought it was super-fabulososo-terrific!!!!! She wore a leather bondage corset, a pink fluffy tutu, thigh-high boots (which took like a fuckin hour to get off) and her hair was done up in about half a dozen pony tails. We were completely bombed on booze, weed and pills and now I have to go up to Silver Spring tonight to get my car, wherever it is

I parked in a garage around the corner from the Fillmore. You can leave it overnight, can't you? I don't care what it costs, I just don't want the hassle of biking all the way up there and then having to go find the towyard or whatever the hell they call it.

Because Silver Spring is FAR and doors opened at 7:00 (with a line around the block at 6:40) and I didn't get out of work until 6:00 (and still had to bike home to pick up my car) and I had to pick up and transport my friend as well and because we're not animals here.
In my defense, I didn't drive home.
And you're right, anime is cartoon. I guess I just lump all that weird hyper-animated Asian stuff as anime, whether it be cartoons or memes or gifs or mighty morphin power rangers or what-have-you
