Guys, I just came here to agree the David Byrne tour was fantastic as you all said. This does not require a misgendering in response. Yall need Jesus.
Richard Butler’s voice is still freakishly the same….its hard to believe how good he sounds on songs like Pretty in pink, ghost in you, Heaven, heartbreak beat etc

Gary Numan really favors the more industrial stuff live vs the early synth masterpieces
Oh and Love my way!
Wonder if  bearman ended up at the Miki Berenyi / Gina Birch show or not.  I thought about going, but while I enjoy their albums flaked out.  Turns out that Gina's band is having visa issues and she at least in NYC was playing backed by a laptop.

I did…full confession, she's a friend and since she said gave me a shoutout from the stage, I don't think she'd be too upset for repeating this here. I ended up making her and Ollie dinner on Thursday night, and I took care of getting them rides when they landed. It was super stressful for her, and for Moose (who barely made soundcheck after flying in from London). I'm really glad that I was able to give them a chill evening to come down a bit after the stress of dealing with visa issues, and happy that at least it worked out for them…but it was looking really iffy there for a moment. That was probably the last time I'll get to see one of her shows in the US, and it was bittersweet. It was a lot of fun though…I know I'm biased, but to me Miki is a bit of an icon. If you haven't read her book, it's really fantastic.
I live vicariously through Bearman's posts

😱
Louis CK at Lyric Theater
He was really, really, really funny for the 1 hour 20 minute show.
Belly played a great show. I like the early bird special.

Agreed. Managed to get the drummer's set list after the show.
Got to tweedy around 740 and it was packed to the back
But just walked on the side and found a single seat about 12 rows back

Opening act was not really my thing (female go figure) so I am glad I didn’t have to sit through that whole set

Saw Nick cave in the same venue on the same day in 2018, that was a great show
Feel like that was the one k8t was on stage
