My "short movie" reference was in reference to the final huddle the band had where they were selecting the final song to play, and Georgia said, "It's like when you're trying to pick a movie on tv and it's like "which one is the shortest?""

Hi guys.  I can't really add anything to Space's review, though I leaned more on the excellent & good end of the spectrum.  Of course, it's been 10 years (?) since I've seen them last, so maybe it was just time.  Plus, i genuinely love every song they played in the second set, and really dig the new one. Also I'm a mark.

A few other thoughts:

1) Can't believe I joined this place 22 years ago and only just met Space.  I'm happy to report that we're [EDIT] NOW not NOT [/EDIT] BFFs.

2) I genuinely hate going to the club anymore.  Parking sucks. Area sucks.  I hate the no cash shit.

3) I am old, though.

4) Would've been cool to see bearman (we might have met 1,000 years ago). 

5) it was cool to see security escort who I believe was Hutch out lol. I was actually going to come over and say hi before the…unpleasantness.

I dunno…I was a few people away, but I've Hutch in person a few times, and most recently at a GBV show last year.  From where i was standing, I'm pretty sure it was him…he was just in front of Food Food, had one of this little hats, etc.  I was planning to go up between sets and say high, but somewhere in the middle of the first set, there was a lot of yelling from that direction ("you've touched me twice now" some other stuff I forgot), the yellee seemed meek about it, then some staff come up and walked him toward the back. I dunno…maybe he didn't leave leave, or maybe it was a Hutch clone. But I did just get new glasses and I was wearing them, so…

What happened?
Some guy next to food pokes me hard. I turn around and  am like what did I do? Ten minutes later he pokes me hard again and I turn around and ask him what and he says “You are touching my wife” I was shocked. I think about it a minute and turn around and yell at him twice “You touch me again and I will punch you in the face.” It was particularly loud cause it was the first set. Next thing I know some security came. I went out to lobby and explained what happened and they said I understand but it seemed you were the aggressor. We are going to ask you go back on the right side. I said ok but being a sold out show hanging by merch was awful so I went out and told a supervisor whom I know look I was 15 feet away and now it’s 70. I am going to go back to the left side in a few minutes. Would you believe they stationed a security person by coat check to look out for me. Anyways I went back to right side and with two friends we got real close.

But I am very embittered about it. It wasn’t handled in a cool way. I am sorry it happened but guy made me so mad. I must have barely grazed his wife doing my right to left bob.
