Fuckin a camper sound amazing tonight…
No bottling yet but I have seen a group of four older people I would like to bottle….none of them look like space
If you love CVB this is such a treat. All six original band members. One flew in from Sweden and another from Australia. Might be their final show. Certainly the first time I have seen them all! Molla on accordion definitely a first.
Phish parking lot. Night one.
Holy shit!!
Holy shit!!
So far a good normal show
But he just said I’m retiring

Agree with Hutch about Camper. Excellent show. But I still like Cracker better.
No violence at this show. Lots of skinheads. Maybe they will go bowling after the show?
Looked for Hutch but didn't see. Maybe it's good that i didn't if there was a chance of bottling.
Back tomorrow night for Durand Jones.

Skinheads? Were we at same show?
I was surrounded by men with shaved heads. Like at least eight of them.

You sure that's not just alopecia? I'm sure the audience was mostly over 50, so it's pretty common.
No skinheads detected upstairs on the rail (except in the song)….
But yeah, very cool set by Camper Van Beethoven.
Sounded great, great energy.
Would've maybe preferred a different encore, Interstellar Overdrive is OK, but the only complaint about the setlist is the usual one with a strong band that has so much great stuff – they played a normal length show, 1:45, but I could've used an additional dozen or twenty songs.

They played 32 songs!!!
I really appreciated them going on at 7 to get their full show in.
That was a masterclass on how to mix a live show. The separation between all six instruments was fantastic. I could hear every note by every player.

Damn. Wish I knew who Dumper Van Beethoven is. Sounds like a hell of a show.

Not to be bitchy, but SF got 36 including some good ones we didn't get. Camper Van Beethoven Concert Setlist at The Fillmore, San Francisco on April 27, 2025 | setlist.fm https://share.google/Zn0S8Wfq228sDKq9f

You can’t be serious..that was in April. Did they have all six original members too?
Talk about always finding the negative man you specialize at it. It must suck being you. You go through setlist to find set lists you would have preferred over shows you saw?
The Fillmore got White Riot, Fatima 1 & 2, Sad Lovers' Walz, Laundromat, and Lottery.
White Riot is blah, but the others are essential. They also should've added One of These Days, Come on Darkness, Borderline, Change Your Mind, Never Go Back, L'Arguardiente, Heart, and No More Bullshit. Come on, just 13 more songs, would've been KILLER….

That would have been impossible as it was the early show. We know they absolutely have to be off by 9 for the venue to turn around and open at 10. Had they not taken the early show slot they would not have been booked. Their draw these days in DC is not amazing. This was their first DC show in five years and they probably half sold the 930 if that… Who knows why they weren’t booked at Atlantis…maybe it was already booked by someone else…maybe they thought they could draw better after five years…maybe they just like playing the 930 which they have played so many times…..maybe they really do think last night was the last Camper show and wanted to go out at the 930. And at a show where they are celebrating and featuring the first album by playing it in its entirety -all 15 songs-you can’t get everything. I did miss Fatima.
