Plus Wilco are terrible.

Yeah that too
The Conan/Serial Hawk show at the Ottobar was one of the loudest I have ever heard. The whole venue was shaking; my body was shaking; it was just this wall of sound that you could not escape, totally brutal and awesome.

I knew that would be a good one. Everyone said Conan was amazing at MDF. I was stuck at work until 10pm. I hope they come around again soon.
Are you going to the show at SoundStage on Thursday? Heavy ass lineup.
I would if I had work off. I saw Immortal several years ago and they were awesome. If Abbath has the same energy then you are in for a treat. I always hate missing HoF. There are so many great shows coming up and I wish I can make them all.

That one hour lost does make a difference.
The Oneohitrix Point Never show at the ottobar last night was pretty good - a lot more vocals than I was expecting - and he also had a dude playing some sort of midi guitar on stage with him.
Doors
We're supposed to open at 8pm, so i got there at 9pm to find a line wrapped down around the back ally of the ottobar - didn't get in until about 9:30. Show started at 9:50 with Jason Lescalleet - he was pretty cool - tape loop noise basically.
OPN were good, not mind blowing or anything (unlike Ben frost, who blew my mind and I'll be seeing in a few weeks)

Crap. The thing I was doing last night ended at around 9:45, and I thought that is when OPN would be taking the stage (and did not check Facebook or anything). I could have made it with only missing Jason's set.
Jason's twitter name is @tapeloops
yeah, pretty good show…I'd give it a 7/10.

I take it you were at the Rangda show as well? Didn't see you or azaghal1981, but I was all the way in the back. Thought it was pretty good, would have preferred if they played a venue that had a stage though i guess
i didn't make it to the snails show because it was sold out
Yeah I was at the Rangda show…I actually walked in around 10:35 pm and they were already playing.
Loved the show, much better and longer than their set at Golden West in 2010.
Azaghal was there.
killsaly wasn't. He only goes to local shows.
You should get the ottobar pass next year!

^ It is shit posts like that one that are keeping you out of the inner circle.
After 25 years I finally saw TSP and thoroughly enjoyed it. Well worth the price.

Louis CK Friday was an absolute riot.

I streamed one of his specials last night on Amazon Prime. Didn't have to pay a dime or leave my couch.
For about the first 25 minutes, I didn't laugh once. For the last 30+ minutes, I laughed consistently, sometimes hard.
I also watched Trumbo on SAturday night, so it was a bit of a LCK weekend for me.
I bet. Too bad they announced the late show around 4:30 pm when I was on my way home from work……oh well, next time.

He's about to announce a major tour. Supposedly very soon. So you'll have another opportunity.
