I guess you just missed the 82 tour with the clash opening

Parking lot.  One of two times I was near, but not in, the venue for the Clash.  Oh the regrets…..
First time I saw them was the farewell tour in 1984 at RFK.  Probably seen them 10 times since.

Street parking free, maybe a gallon and a half of gas, the aforementioned tv dinner, and half a can of Other Half.
Can everyone please just give Space his small victories?  He read his posts…he really needs them.

Solid Sound 2022

As far as Wilco music goes, the highlight for me was their encore set Friday night after they played the new record in its entirety-

It's Just That Simple
New Madrid
(Uncle Tupelo cover)
Climbing
(Meat Puppets cover)
Wild Mountain Thyme
(traditional)
Once a Day
(Connie Smith cover) (with Neko Case)
She's My Rock
(Stoney Edwards cover)
Reincarnation
(Roger Miller cover)

other notable mentions-

Nels' jazz group!
Eleventh Dream Day
Sam Evian
New Madrid is so good
Great time at CHVRCHES last night. First time back to the club since panda began. Felt right at home. Big shout out to the staff, who were wonderful as usual.
Nice!

Caught some of his act on the courtyard stage and enjoyed.  However, my wife saw his pop-up set in the museum and thought it may have been the highlight of the festival.  She's a hard core Tweedy show groupie.
Eleventh Dream Day - glad they are back again…..great Chicago band
Thought Phoebe was solid last night. Props to the crew as the stage looked absolutely incredible.

Hoping there is a better way to notify ticketholders that the line for the vaccine check is at the other end of the wharf. Received the usual email regarding entrance options, one near the shake shack and the other closer to the entrance, only to arrive 30 minutes before she went on and had to walk a considerable distance. Ended up not being a problem and the crew were extremely helpful, but I imagine any of us could have missed some of the set if working on a tighter schedule.
They're still doing vaccine check? LOL.
As I recall Anthem abides by the artist’s choice regarding vaccine checks. Trust me nobody enjoys implementing them…

Also, there is no way to get thousands of people in without it taking time. I mean you just have to do a security check in today’s world. Just the way it is. You’ve got to get there early. Not sure if pier was closed off to Anthem but that complicates matters more when it’s the case.
TikTok killed the indie rock star.

I wonder how many Anthems Phoebe could have sold out. At least one more…maybe two.
she can sell out 2 nights at capital one in a year or so.  Her fanbase will probably triple in the next year or so.

"Even Phoebe Bridgers’ team tried to get ahead of the curve by sending select influencers advance previews of her song “Sidelines” to share."

Did anyone catch her 2018 set at the RNRH?
