Post Show Banter >>>>

Went to Union Stage finally over the weekend. That place is a clusterfuck. Not to mention that I wasn't allowed beer in the stage area yet still had to give me idea to verify my age.
Deaner was great…just weird how he ran off stage and disappeared…

Pandy fackler was on set list but not played

Could not get my chocolate and cheese signed…looks like road trip to new hope in cards

Great show and as always, great seeing the hutch/sidehutch combo.

Two things come to mind… Deaner didn't have a cigarette for over 1.5 hours, I'm sure that was killing him. Also, after looking at all of the set lists thus far from the tour, it appears he basically played the amount of time, just axed the encore. Until next time!
I don’t know how to post pictures no more but pandy was in middle of list

It did seem like they played 90 minutes and split

I was surprised by the huge tour bus out back

I was wondering about that too… These guys are probably taking home about $48 a piece post show tour expenses.
Haha…yeah…

Funny thing is as a patron one never knows what goes on…backstage and with the venue…
spoiler alert: i loved the superchunk/swearin' show.
Superorganism was top notch last night at RNR
Sold out, very enthusiastic crowd
Sound was one of the best at RNR, but maybe because it wasn't so Guitar heavy?
very nice to not have to worry about earplugs too

I hate to focus on a persons height…but the lead singer was shorter than the drummer/keyboardist who were both sitting :P
The interviews I've seen she is a dead fish, but she was great at getting the audience engaged and was hamming it up
got a little dangerous when she started pelting the crowd with chocolates, but they literately ate it up

Usually these hype bands are god-awful on their first tour so I'm glad this wasn't the case. I don't get their hype but their brand of pop isn't my speed.

yeah…was kinda of expecting the worst in terms of performance/sound
but they had it dialed in and I thought it was great

don't get me wrong…they aren't that talented and they are 'flash in the pan' kinda band
but they were all at the merch table after the show…and it looked like every single person who attended bought merch

me too

So refreshing to hear Superchunk address our disturbing political climate issues while pogo-ing their asses off.  Long live the power of punk rock music!
YLT was frickin great last night…they played a very hutch friendly list…show was divided in two halves…first set mellower more acoustic…second set kept building up unti a demonic I heard you looking…finished with encore including a very nice I found a reason

Show was close to sold out…bar staff did a great job keeping volume down during first set…

:-[ regrets…april was such a busy month with shows
wanted to go to YLT

It was pretty good! They pulled mostly from Painful and Fade last night. Sudden Organ is always welcome to hear. No real jammy songs like Pass the Hatchet.
Tom courtenay, tears are in your eyes , and tons of Georgia singing

So good… still high…totally hit the spot for me

Any idea what song it was they started the encore with?

I’m glad they didn’t do Hatchet or Mr. Tough…lol

So happy to hear Superchunk was awesome. I was out of town and couldn't make it. Had drinks with Jason in Chicago a couple nights before that show and he had great stories. Love that band. Those guys are wonderful.
I enjoyed the Lorde show much more than I thought.  Perhaps because it was an Arena show performed in a smaller venue, but I went in to see Run the Jewels and enjoyed seeing both.  She's crazy talented for 21…

I could have done without all the millennials crying, but you know, Liability does that to some people I suppose.
