Post Show Banter >>>>

super easy…they have this magnet circle thing that the Staph had at the exits
1 click, you pull you phone out and deposit the bag in the bins
probably added some time, but if you didn't bring your phone…there isn't a no phone exit, so you'll get caught in the same line
Thanks everyone!
Well he played steady as she goes

And Icky Thump too (though of course he closed with 7 Nation Army).  I might have just been in a bad mood, but it was kind of a joyless concert for me.  I hesitate to say this, but I actually could have done with a bit more Jack White guitar virtuoso/noodling.
Anyone see jack white at Wilson high yesterday??

As in, did someone from this board actually attend the performance?

Unless there are some very underaged kids on this board or a teacher, not sure how that would be possible.
I read on Pollstar that a boardie rode his bike there…,

Ya never know. I've been a member of the forum since freshman year of high school.
Where was the board intel on this??

Which reminds me did nobody mention the pop up third man record store in the alley?
It was nice to have no phones last night during show…it did not slow anything down and the patrons I talked to loved it….people exited to learn Caps had won

Did they only invite the white kids? My suburban Fairfax County elementary school has far more diversity.
Like the sands of time in an hourglass cue the Space backlash….

I also enjoyed the no cell phone policy.  Obviously a small sample size, but I think it made the site lines a little bit better for me.
I went to both nights of Jack White. Enjoyed both nights and the set list variety between the two. I thought night two was the better night out of the two. He seemed more into it and the set list was more of a ripper.

I loved the no cell phone thing. Made some new friends waiting for the sets I probably otherwise would have not talked to because we'd be killing time on our devices. Also from the back of the house, I thought the club looked amazing without all the screens in the air and the screen light bleed.Really brightened the effect of the stage lights.

The pouch process was so seamless both nights that I'd support all Anthem shows going that route. Logistically wouldn't be as smooth at 9:30 Club though.
I enjoyed Hop Along and Bat Fangs.
It was the reduced size setup, so it appeared to be pretty full.
And it was national veggie burger day, so i had one of those at Food Food as well.
Anything else you need to know?
u enjoyed the shrill voice of Hop Along's vocalist?

Did anyone see Chappelle perform last night?
at city winery!
I think that was a last min announcement  that no one knew about

Interesting they had a wait list once it was sold out?
