I admittedly can't believe you would travel to a concert down I95 on a Friday night.

Godbless you Space.

guess the Hot lanes weren't an option?
that part of 95 is possibly the worst strip of road…every day of the week

So when is it ok to drive 95? I do it so seldomly I don't know the answer to that question.

I take my kid to King's Dominion once a year on a weekday, after rush hour then back home again at night. And there's never been problems with traffic at those times.

I do it once a year if I'm unlucky.
Saw local Baltimore band: June Star, last night at Monument City Brewing Company in an area between Hopkins Bayview and Patterson Park.
Good band shaking off the rust, caught up with the Baltimore house show crew that I was used to seeing once a month or so in the pre-panda.
Nice little redevelopment there. Brewery, Axe Throwery, Restaurant, ample off-street parking.
First indoor show for me in 17 months.
Nicely done!

6000 thumbs up!
I do feel that Americans, in general, were pretty gaynorant in 2014

I do like the mug
Great to be back at the Ottobar for a show last night. Seated show was very chill. Started a hair after 8 and was done by 9:25 or so.

Kinda sad to see the chairs removed from their outdoor patio. Also sad that I barreled into a deer on the way home.
In college I totaled my car on a deer

Poor thing..I mean the deer

I hated that car and it ended up being a relief to be rid of it..it was my first car..an ugly as shit Ford Topaz…it was manual stick shift and that was a pain in the ass for me

Hope your car is ok!

:'( I keep my car clean and tidy. Lost part of the grill and have a dent in the bumper. Kinda pissed.

My 3rd deer ever. Only one survived.

Fun show. First show back in a real nightclub for me. I love their songs, and the energy they (particularly Mac) puts into translating them into acoustic versions. In the middle of the show, Mac returned Jason Narducy's call on stage/mic and Jason wished Mac a belated happy birthday, and then the crowd sang Mac the happy birthday song.

The point is, PUNK ROCK is BACK!

Sorry about STC's deer incident.

Yes, wonderful to be back indoors at a rock and roll show and it appeared that the Superchunk dudes felt the same way.  For me, the highlight was the guitar interplay between the two of them (oh, and of course, the company of Challenged…felt like pre-panda times).  Mac WAS quite enthusiastic…for the first time, his voice reminded me of Corgan's.  And the acoustics were impressive.
Reports from The Invitational at John and Peter's over the last two weeks say Deaner looks and sounds the best he's been in years.
