i'm starting to think that even if he could manufacture all three of those, at once, it wouldn't be enough.

I don’t know if I agree with that
Even with all the insanity going on
he still has 40% approval across the United States and only really need is like 46 to win

that is a lot Of ground to cover
he could do a couple key things in a couple key states
just get that extra 6% out and suppress and depress the Democratic vote

maybe not likely

If Trump is at 46% and the G/L candidates take a total 2% and Biden is at 52%, Trumps path to Electoral victory is more in the realm of “technically existent” than “actually possible.”

In theory I'm in favor of the death penalty. They would need to figure out how to mete it out fairly and justly.

It’s a great theoretical point to throw out at parties and on boards…


I have always been against the death penalty. One day it will cease to exist. Maybe in our lifetime. It’s already an anachronism.

The idea that a society like ours - with all the injustices we see..all the systemic racism- could implement a federal death penalty “fairly and justly” under a Trump presidency and with Barr at Justice is laughable.

It is tempting to make an exception in the case of Donald J. Trump who ought to be shot for treason. But it brings up the point: if the federal government won’t use the death penalty on Donald J Trump who would they use it on?  Nobody deserves it more on the federal level.

that's the rub as it's not 100% fair or just, so innocent people are getting executed
I think there is no place for Government sanctioned executions in the modern world, period
It's not a deterrent, costs more and is about inhumane as you can get

So do we think this will be the last we hear from Jefferson Beauregard Sessions III

I suppose the example we always hear for justifying the death penalty is someone like an Osama Bin Laden….
