after breaking through several layers of security, protestors are literally storming the Capitol.  they're on the steps forcing their way up, police are holding them back for now. 

all this in defense of a pile of democracy-crushing lies.  pure insanity.

the "protestors" are white and are "defending the constitution", AKA they have the backing of the police (state).  authorities tacitly supported them by giving them a lot more leeway than they ever gave other protestors (women's march, BLM, etc.).  wouldn't be surprised to hear that 1600 told the cops to go easy on them.  regardless, they clearly had no intention of stopping them.

now they've lost control and have no one to blame but themselves.
