The 2020 thread....

Biden takes the lead in Michigan:

Biden 2,511,077 49.4%
Trump 2,497,873 49.1%
Yup Biden ahead in both MI and WI

If you give in to this whole we were going to trash him and I feel sad baloney you are just being a defeatist …the object is to win the presidency…

Arizona was huge…
66.9% turnout
160 million votes

Highest turnout in 120 years

(Per Michael McDonald of vote project)

Looking at raw vote counts and what's left uncounted in Wake and Mecklenberg, I see no path to Biden getting NC barring an absolute flood of absentee ballots arriving between now and the 10th.

Same deal with their Senate race? Playboy should have kept it in his pants.
He's trailing Biden by about 1%, so yeah, he's likely done. Peters should pull out MI. Kelly should have AZ.

Not clear what is going on with Collins in Maine due to ranked choice voting, but assuming she wins, it'd be GOP 50-Dems 48 and two runoffs in Georgia.

Agreed. Really want to see proof that NV is sticking (the demographics of the outstanding ballots are ++ – update tonite) and would love to see a news agency other than AP and Fox call AZ for Biden but this is looking good, barring judicial shenangians.

NY Times stating both campaigns expect MI and WI to be called early-afternoon, and likely for Biden. That puts us at 270 if everything holds. Would love some insurance runs in GA (which the NYT "Needle" is still saying is likely tracking to Biden by 0.5%) or PA but non-judicial-hijinks paths are closing for Trump.
Y'all should check out this data science bro's work for the NYT analyzing where the remaining ballots are and predicting them out. If his PA analysis is on, I'm getting the Johnnie Walker Blue out.
Ween or Loose: Biden will have the most votes in US Electoral history.
Looks like Peters (D) could lose his Senate seat in Michigan (?)

Glenlivet 25 year last night around 2AM.

Biden is Winning.  Act Like it.

Still a ton of Wayne County and Kalamazoo votes outstanding. He’s probably ok but there were definitely some voters who went Biden but not Peters.

A better scotch by a mile but lacks the blue tie-in.

Biden is almost certainly winning, that is correct. Pennsylvania is going blue.
There was way too much hubris in the senate for Dems (maybe by me only)

Knew Jones didn't have a chance
But I thought for sure that Collins and Ernst were done…but Trump voters came out in those states
Also thought Espy had a decent chance…but trounced like Ossof
I don't think Warnock is going to be able to win in a run off at all
Boiller in KS got shellacked
Cal, just couldn't keep it in his pants…fucked it all up, but Trump really got the vote out in NC

Does that even get 50?  I know we get the the VP with Biden
Too early for post mortem hatch

You are too bitter

If we made Trump a one term president- and I think we have- that is huge.  A huge accomplishment
Jus the right time for a little moist partem though.
Sounds kinky

I agree…but the just barely part makes me depressed.  I wanted a mandate like winning the popular by 10million

I did too but honestly, if is by a narrow margin, it makes me feel good about the time I took off from work and phone banked, and the money I gave specifically to ActBlue in states like MI and GA that is going to fuel this. This an election that if we worked 10% less hard, we lose. But we didn't.

EDIT: Call me crazy, but I don't think an 8 million popular vote margin is out of play. Tons of CA and NY and MD/NOVA votes left to count.
