I had totally forgotten this….That Obama wanted Kaine…also that he waited til August 23 to announce pick! Bayh would have been horrible.. By contrast Hillary announced her pick of Kaine about a month earlier..looks like Biden intends to split the difference

Democratic convention starts Monday August 17 so maybe between Friday August 7 and Wednesday August 13?!? Maybe try to hold a socially distanced event, do the Sunday news shows one weekend? That must be their thinking

Of course the earlier you announce the more time you give Trump to plan and execute dumping Pence and roll out Nikki Haley potentially stealing your thunder…but we don’t know Trump will do this…I don’t see Haley hitching her wagon to Trump given current shit show

But I do see them pulling this out to steal Biden's thunder when he announces…as that is all everyone will talk about if Trump does that
