The 2020 thread....

I know, it’s crazy, I can read and comprehend an article despite not being an attorney. For my next trick, I will repeat off the bottle the side effects of Excedrin despite not being a doctor.

Fun fact…took two this morning
Anything I should be aware of (as I didn't read them)?

If he actually runs and gets the Libertarian nom, this makes Michigan even more interesting and hard-to-predict.

this would be an amazing development.  Amash could peel away a bunch of conservatives that don't like trump, but refuse to vote for a dem.

Amash has vehemently denied he was thinking of running.  shows you can't trust a politician.

Well shit. I though that was why we all voted for Biden…in hopes that a moderate middle of the road guy would draw some of the never-Trump conservatives. If Amash gets that vote, might as well have picked Bernie.
“There is, to this day, no evidence that I had or knew about the source or content of the Wikileaks disclosures prior to their public release.”
that quote aged poorly
although it doesn't matter how much evidence we have of the Team Trump corruption
Of course had we known about Covid19 wreckage we might have realized even Bernie had a good chance to beat Trump

But I guess many people would say I am overly optimistic

Still I can’t see how Trump gets re-elected

All you need is 1 or 2 people per 100 voting in WI, MI and PA to change from voting republican to voting democrat or 1 or 2 who weren’t voting to come out and vote D

This is critical and often overlooked….
4.4 million obama voters stayed home!
Democratic hubris was at an alltime high and the feeling was the risk was really low that trump would take it
I don't think that's going to happen this time around(well unless we all vote by mail)

It is crazy that in Jan you were stating that Trump was the likely 2020 winner…my what a pandemic can do to predictive models
I know there are a lot of supporters here…but I have bad news

Former Gov. Jesse Ventura Announces He Will Not Be Running For President
Being down to 177 days is encouraging…an achievement…can’t believe we have made it through 3.5 years of Trump

Now I just hope for RBG’s health and that we make it to November 3 as quickly and painlessly as possible

I now know firsthand FOUR people that have lost family to Covid19…

It suits our purpose when people dismiss polls..let’s run scared and make sure to get out the vote

I 100% agree with that.  I really think complacency was more to blame for Trump than any other single thing.
I really think that it has to start in the states, we need to make sure it's easy and reliable to vote  in every state
then play by the EC rules

Thought there would be more movement on the Vote by mail in the last month, but it seems to have stalled
all eyes on the SCOTUS today
can't count chickens before their hatched…but so far not looking good for donnie

Won't get a decision until june/july
you would think they would fast track this kind of decision
@HoarseWisperer
The crux of Trump’s lawyers argument appears to be that the man who tweeted every seven minutes for 16 hours straight two days ago is far too busy to answer subpoenas.
Federal agents seized Sen. Richard Burr’s cellphone on Wednesday night as part of the Justice Department’s investigation into controversial stock trades he made as the coronavirus first struck the U.S.

So why is Burr the one getting busted?

Burr is head of the Senate Intel Committee that just released a report confirming Russia interfered to help Trump and is working on another explosive report.

Burr and Loeffler committed the same crime and only one is being made to disappear

Uncle Blazer @blakesmustache

Plan worked, Barr is a genius!…will that stop the release of Volume 5 of the Senate Intelligence Committee report on Russian election interference
only time will tell
Justin Amash drops out

Damn that was quick

Makes one think he is a bit stupid
Or…I hate to say it..he is smart and negotiated a deal (a future job? $?)
