Less than 400 hours

At this point I am more worried about Trump or his aides doing something really untoward and stupid -something dastardly- to try to change the dynamics of the race…

We all know how Trump would use a - god forbid- non white terrorist attack… there are a lot of $ at stake and a lot of players in the Middle East - national and sub national actors within countries- with close ties to terrorist actors

We all know the Saudis and Israelis would love to promote conflict with Iran and avoid a Biden presidency

But probably about 25%  of US voters will have done so by tomorrow….

Reading predictions of 65% turnout (150 million)

I am skeptical but…
If we really see that many people vote I think it introduces uncertainty with respect to all the polls we are seeing…

For reference, we haven’t ever got even close to 65% in my lifetime!

If we got that high it would surely mean a lot of people that never or hardly ever vote would have voted… one would think polling would find it hard to predict who these people are

And don’t assume they would be D voters… as we know many lower education level voters - who tend to vote less - gravitate towards Trump

So the final gambit is to keep ratcheting up conspiracy theories about Hunter’s laptop?  That story just gets more and more ridiculous…

And why aren’t Biden surrogates highlighting the actual stuff 45s offspring have been caught doing, nevermind the security  costs that they have racked up… not that matters to his cult, because Obama played golf a couple times

Rest of the strategy appears to be dismissing science, claiming all news is fake and probably stroking more ill will  towards any blue state governor

Oh it appears faux news passed on the Hunter laptop story because they didn’t find it credible,  which of course means OAN is running the story non stop

valid question.  trump had indicated after the first debate that he wouldn't accept having his mic turned off ("why should i, when i won the first debate?"). 

smart/sneaky how the commission did this: first got the campaigns to agree to a principle (2 minutes of uninterrupted opening statements), then BOOM hit them with the mute rule.  it's going to be hard for the campaigns to object now.

It’s amazing how many people have already voted and in some key states...NC/GA/MI/VA/FL/AZ already have over 30% of total votes from 2016


Unless the polls are wrong -and they could be as in many states the difference between Trump and Biden is less than 3% - or turnout of Trump’s base explodes you would have to think this increases the level of difficulty for Trump

Because we know for a fact Trump thinks he is behind or he wouldn’t be campaigning in GA and NC!

On the other hand we also know Trump thought he was behind in 2016…..and he was until Comey…the difference is not that many people were early voting in 2016…that makes it more difficult to turn it around

Remember, turning off the mic is only a benefit for the viewers.  The debaters will still be able to hear each other and will still serve as a distraction.

I'm still worried for October surprises…I'm thinking of race war/terror attack
I kind of thought the vaccine/cure was going to be it, but at this point, not enough time

What doesn't look good is basically the major spike in Covid cases is a Red state map…MAGA's with family/neighbors are going to be greatly impacted, unlike in the Spring when it hit the Blue states hard
That will have to have an impact on support in those areas…we really only need 1% swing in some states

in 2016…people were not excited and thought Hil was a shoe-in
additionally, there were TONS of undecided and third-party candidates that were getting tons of support in those key states
the microtargetng in 2016 was also very effective
I just don't think with the increased turnout that trump can pull this off

I heard · Mike Madrid say that it's possible 160 million votes could be cast in 2020 (137 were in 2016)
if that actually happens, there is zero chance that trump can pull off an EC win

Pat Robertson reports that he has been told by God that Trump will win reelection … and it will bring about the beginning of the End Times
