It is absolutely astonishing to me that he is even considering anyone other than Elizabeth Warren.
Yes, put Benghazi back on the forefront of this election. Put African-American Hillary as your VP. Just staggeringly dumb.

Probably Elizabeth Warren is the only candidate that would bring excitement….
But calling Susan Rice “African-American Hillary” seems crazy
Whoever Biden picks they will make up stuff about…If it’s Warren they will ride the Pocahontas charge

(there is an infrequent bordie whos name was like Gaaaah, always loved that name)

Is Benghazi such a huge deal? A few Americans died compared to 152,000 from Covid19 and after all the investigations they found nothing.
I mean the kind of people who get riled up about this issue will get riled up about masks, anything Trump tells them…
Should Biden let these wackos dictate his pick?

Absolutely not, that why Benghazi is irrelevant to any potential Biden voter

Let's be clear, we are getting the vote out regardless of polling…no question
but this tidbit from nate gave me a litte pause
Nate Silver@NateSilver538
At the end of the day, it's only July, there are a lot of unprecedented events happening, polling is more accurate than its critics think but probably *not* as accurate as it was in say 2004-2012—and if we wind up in a photo finish, Trump likely wins b/c of the Electoral College. So while Biden has a robust polling lead now, and a number of other things going for him, it's a little early to be all that confident about what is going to happen.

Susan rice is Benghazi.

Rice or Harris get out the Republican vote in opposition more than it does the Dem vote and fires up no particular wing of the Dem party.
Warren is the exact opposite.

Bull.
Warren will be tagged a socialist and feed into the Biden is senile and will let the communists/socialists run his administration….
I think he should pick who he wants and definitely not make his pick out of fear…

And in their attempts to tag her as a socialist, they’ll highlight her wildly popular-even-to-Independents policies. Whereas when they target Kamala or Rice, they bring bupkiss to the table except happening to be part of an ethnic group that is voting for Biden at a 90+% rate anyway.

I just don’t agree and my posts on this thread have addressed most of what you say.
I am not going to tear down Elizabeth Warren. I don’t believe she has any chance of getting selected and neither would I recommend it.
Regardless Rice and Harris are the favorites one week out. We will just have to wait and see.

However, a Warren pick is the one that would create the most buzz and excitement.
The Rice and Harris picks are fairly boring.
I fully acknowledge that

Biden is the strong
preference for african-american voters, but that doesn't mean they
will vote.
biden needs the black vote to show up in november. an all-white ticket = alienating blacks = low turnout. talk to your girl hillary about that one.

I do love how photojournalists have been catching these as of late

although, I felt this one didn't contain any bombshells or oh boy moments
Did I miss something? Don't think "do not hold grudge" is that damning?

How about I talk to Bill Clinton about it? Or better yet, I'll talk to the participants in the literally tens of polls of African American voters I have posted that all show them with a preference for Elizabeth Warren. Listen to African-American voters when they tell you what they want.

This Tennessee GOP Senate Primary is amazing. A candidate is literally getting blasted for voting for his party's – the same party whose Senate nomination he is running for – 2012 Presidential nominee.

So you think Biden can’t win without Warren? Is that why you are so concerned?

No, but I think Warren improves his chances of winning whereas I think Rice or Harris reduce it.
Let me turn the question around: you are on record as saying multiple times on here that the VP choice does not matter – then why do you keep arguing with me the merits of one vs another if its inconsequential?
