Just Announced Commentary - 2011 Edition

I notice there are several seats in the first seven rows available for the Bad Seeds on Ticketmaster.  The price point is $201 ("The Signature VIP Package").  Hm.

So eager to know where my Sandbox pre-sale tickets are located.  ;)
My guess is we'll be right behind the VIP seats.  However, at DAR there's a huge section between the first row and the front of the stage, so my guess is you'll be able to get up there if you really want.
Also, I really hate VIP seats.  I understand why bands sell them, but it takes away the magic of being able to get a seat up close.
I got Orch row B center yesterday…not VIP. It was  $70
:)

Well it actually makes it easier to get seats right up front.

To everyone really upset about us asking people to dress up at our shows? please relax. It's super not mandatory. It just makes for a more fun carnival when we are all in it together. So far these have been the best shows we have ever played.
See you soon.
Love,
Arcade Fire

We can hate them just for the fact they used "super not".  What are they?  Sorority girls?

Brian

How could anyone hate Arcade Fire?  Best band in the world and the coolest..

Are you baiting me?  "Best band in the world and the coolest?"  Is it opposite day?

You like pretentious, satisfied hipster shit that wouldn't know a tune if it bit them on their free-range asses?  They are like The Polyphonic Spree meets "Big Love."

Brian
Oh what a joyful day it is.

I've always dreamed (dreamt? sorry, I was a math major) of the day that Brian Walalce (sorry, Brian, you'll always be Walalce to me) would cut loose on Atomic.

Now, where's Dupek?
two brains are better than one, in the same head

Searching for his folder of turd jpegs, no doubt.
I thought Lauryn Hill, despite the price, despite her volatile behavior live, might sell out incredibly fast.  Guess not.

I love the Polyphonic Spree.  I don't know who Big Love but if they are what  you say they are I am excited to find out.

Does Silver Mountain Boys involve Lexie Mountain? Because that would be hilarious and I would go just for it.
She used to tour as Lexie Mountain Boys.

Toy
1/11
Kung Fu Necktie
Hey Joe and Killsaly, how's about another Philly road trip?
Maybe to both questions (Lexie being in the band, it is a Baltimore group, probably a "super group" of some sort, I will let you know later and for the roadtip, I do not know who Toy is and at the moment probably wont drive to Philly to see them)…
Maybe not Az, "Seipp, Bolesta, J.Mo and CamSmith" is what is listed as the Silver Mountain Boys.
Definitely check out the Toy album.

They remind me of The War on Drugs.  I like them!  Thanks.
