people, it's phish.  there isn't that much going on on stage.  they don't have that much stage presence, they don't have an amazing light show, they don't really have props, etc.  you're not missing any important visuals from the lawn.

You don't want to see this?

I can't say westword or whoever that is holds much credibility, but yeah… if you're comparing light shows, they're one of the best.
The article said their lighting guy also was hired to do lights for Bieber. If that's not proof positive, I'm not sure what is.

When I saw them a few years ago I was in awe of their light show…maybe it's not as sophisticated as NIN's but still pretty good if you ask me

**Turns on sarcasm detector, can't tell if I'm getting a proper reading or not**
I honestly haven't been to a Phish or a Bieber show.

But I can only imagine that a production as massive as a Bieber tour would hire a talented lighting guy.

No sarcasm.

Dan Kanter, Bieber's musical director is a huge Phish fan which is how that all came about… He's even taken Biebs to a few shows.
This article says that the "band recently parted company with their bass player Neil Busch due to "severe health problems" so I guess it's a better way of saying it was due to drug problems.

They went downhill after kicking Neil Busch out of the band.  Every band needs a drug-addled member to keep the creative tension fresh.

Oh well having seen Wilco twice I am guessing Jeff Tweedy will be awful.  You saved yourself some money.
not sure your advice is worth the paper it's printed on

Well I have actually seen the acts in question.  Why does everyone on here have such bad taste in music. When I like a band playing a small club or venue they most often go on to be superstars.   You should ask me for advice on whom you should listen to so you can fit in with other people.

Oh and there is no additional HTML stored on the website for my posts.  They just store the message text in a database.  The page is made dynamically.

You should never ask me for advice on whom you should listen to.

I'm going to try to show off that I know something about computer code so you can all be impressed by my big brain

This is what I heard
