Wherever the hell Floyd, VA is, they'll be there.
I feel like Gogol Bordello is way more high energy than DMB….but I've never seen DMB so what do I know.

Less than 30 tickets left for next weeks Future Islands show, if anyone wants to go.

I don't understand the reasoning to argue a band shouldn't be in a venue that big. Someone thought they did so they are there. Why do you care about a show you aren't attending will be mostly empty.
I mean I went to the Ramones/Deborah Harry/Tom Tom Club show at MPP back in the day and no one was there and I had a great time. Also I didn't go in but it appeared from the empty parking lot at the Ozzy Osbourne/Metallica show at MPP that maybe 500 people attended. I am sure the loser geek guys who attended thought it was a great show.
The only one who should care is the promoter.
I saw Hollie Go Lightly at the Ottobar once and there were less than 20 people at the show. Sucks for her but I had a good time.

The Go Go's are the headliner. The Go's Go's packed them into MPP a few years back. They played with B-52's and Psychedelic Furs and hardly was even watching the Furs as most people hadn't arrived yet. The Go's Go's the place was packed and people were going crazy.
ok well there you you…. James Ford fucked up the premise that the Furs were the headliner..
YOU GOT THAT JAMES FORD: YOU FUCKED IT UP!

I think it'd be awesome if she did an entire show of John Hughes soundtrack covers…Simple Minds, Belouis Some, Gene Loves Jezebel, Book of Love. Something tells me that's not what it'll be.
