Anyway building the place creates jobs.  When Live Nation booked Rams head live they booked awful acts.  They don't know what they are doing.  Maybe one day they will unload the place and someone who knows a thing or two about booking could get the place.  I have never been to silver spring place as they have never gotten a band there I have wanted to see enough to drive down there that didn't sell out by the time I realized they had a good band.

Anyone have inside info on when Disco Biscuits tickets go on sale? Presale is over and still no info.

Didn't know where else to post this but Hopscotch has been announced.  Looks good this year.

that's a bizarre collection of musical genres, i like it. haven't heard of any bands with the small font after gems, though.

They dedicate many of the opening slots at the club shows to NC/VA bands to keep the thing "local."

Valiant thord and white laces are some awesome bands in the smallest font.

I saw her and the maniacs in either late 84 or early 85 in college park.  The 10000 maniacs are playing without her in Anapolis.  They should ge back together.

Atomic, I raved pretty strongly about the last St. Vincent club show. Spoon are mostly meh, however.

I used to go see them at State College wayyyy back in the day.  I remember they played so late, I just left!  They have got to be getting up there.
