Woo! I think I've only ever met Julian and Miss Pretentious? Maybe? It was forever ago.

It has scarred my nostrils to this day.

I mean if I met him again and he'd cleaned up his hygiene/sweat issues, then that's different. But my only image of DFA1979 is his odor ruining what was otherwise a fine evening for Miss P and myself.
your truth, hurts

I got 2 floor tickets. The show in Richmond the crowd was fine. Although we got there really late and my sister is super short so we went up to the balcony. Everyone seemed fine. I think I've seen douchier/snootier crowds honestly. The NIN show was way fucking worse than any QOTSA show I've ever been to.

Either way, I'm stoked. How many people are going to this?

i finally pulled my head outta my ass this morning and was able to buy a floor ticket.  the only other time i saw em was rams head live a bunch of years ago– amazing show.
crazy that floors are still available.  looks like pavilion is about half full, probably not quite.  over-reach?

I mean, I thought Merriweather was rather large for them… What's the capacity?
15,000 (I believe)

I thought it was 18,000.

Dang. I thought it was a lot lower than that. Probably the same amount as Verizon Center! Will be interesting to see the turn out for this…

wikipedia says 19,319. That would require a total lawn sellout, in theory, which rarely occurs.
I have only been to a total sellout twice.  Once for Pearl Jam in 1996 (which was the MOST packed I've ever seen it ever) and once for Phish in 1997 or 1998?  Long time ago…
You guys better buy more tickets. If QOTSA doesn't sell out, Seth is gonna break them up.

Has any music from this new band been released?
The last album of covers of some obscure artist didn't really do it for me
