There are way too many absurd band names for you to need to make ones up.

How do two bands get to exist with the same name?

they can until lawyers get involved (i.e. one of them has money).

See if we can get Fico back for the day to tell us all about that. That was crazy.
To not clutter Seth's request thread Julian, my source is unimportant.  I was just mentioning it as a SLIGHT possibility, not that it was going to happen.  If it does, good.  If it doesn't, oh well.  I saw them once with the Billy/Jimmy combo and that was good enough to satiate my desire to see the Smashing Pumpkins.  I had a thirty minute discussion on the possibility of a reunion with someone, but forgot to take notes to post on here for everyone to read.  I do not really care either way, but if it does happen I will probably go.
why didnt i know that billy dated jessica simpson?
I don't remember that, but I do remember this:

And then there was his "experimentation" phase:

And Billy's a rock star so he dated the Veronicas

he really likes, his scarves, doesnt he?
i am watching that "if all goes wrong" thing on the youtube right now.  its nice.  thanks, julian.

It is nice seeing a bald man get the chicks for once.
He may be bald underneath, but he's wearing a prosthetic mullet.

I suppose in at least the Spectrum case, it might be ok since they are from different countries.
There is another Spectrum?

Sadly, the boring Ceremony probably have more money than the good Ceremony.
Yeah read this quote from a show writeup for them:
R&B recording artist and vocal impersonator George Jamison, American Idol sweetheart Jenni Schick, and the NYC Latin sensation Ramon Delacruz  make up SPECTRUM?s dream-team front line.   They dazzle and interact with your audience thruout the night, always delivering an amazing performance and will dress up or down to fit your venue or event! Spectrum performs a mix of old-school and modern music—from Kool & The Gang and  Stevie Wonder to Rihanna, Bruno Mars, Black Eyed Peas and Cee Lo Green!  With an energy-driven show and a repertiore broad enough to satisfy any and all ages, Spectrum is an act your audience will long remember and demand back!

i agree about the Ceremony money thing…

Another interesting fact about that is both bands started those projects in 2004.

Did you listen to Ceremony's album "distance" yet?  I have only checked out the two songs that came on a cassingle from later in 2013.
I have not.

Not long ago, a band called Harmonia played the Millennium Stage. Realizing it wasn't the 70's Harmonia was rough.

Not sure which is which - west coast is boring? - but I bet neither have any money. I like both of them.
Anyone who thinks that Eric Gales sucks is a fucking moron, carry on.
