we'll I've got two…if you can find someone who wants to swap nights…the Misses can have the other one

you have two for both night? i'm confused

i'm not sure she'd want to go or not…i have not broached topic..there's always the danger she'll bust out "YOU GOT A TICKET FOR YOURSELF BUT NONE FOR ME!!!!!!!!!!!"… she is from washington state….

i wouldn't be surprised if i end up going by myself on the 24th…

the last sleater show at the 930…did we know it was the last show??? was that the one they played the danzig song?

there was also that early show…i think the thermals opened…and it was like $10!

not to mention the awesome shows at the old black cat..

i have seen them a few times

looking forward to wearing my old school sleater cat shirt

great that you got tickets though…
just two for the second night…but I don't have anyone named for the second ticket
But I know your first night show is will call-must have your name tix so you have to go the first night

Also don't think I made that 06 show (was in SF)… The Rogers Sisters opened up, not thermals
and they played Lola after that show as well as two shows in Portland (which the Thermals opened for)
So did you see them in Portland?
Can anyone let me know if they have an extra for night one? A friend missed out today.

I went to the show when the Thermals opened!  Good one!

It was 2004
I was at the one where the circuits blew out the night it was supposed to happen and they rescheduled it I think for the next night?? Maybe two nights later?

Kind of the show that converted me into a fan, bad timing.
That was their last show before the hiatus.

That was a great show. I didn't even like S-K but had given 'The Woods' a listen and decided, since this show was much ballyhooed as their last concert, to go. Then the whole cancellation happened. I remember my wife seeming to not believe me when I went home that night saying "Oh I have to go out again tomorrow night" or whenever it was. Actually, I think it was a few days later, wasn't it?

My scenario as well. Listened to them a bunch in the mid 90's with a group of angry lesbians I used to hang out with  and then didn't hear a lick of their music until Woods came out.
The Woods is their one album I did not get that into (although I have since learned to enjoy it more)…. Dave Fridmann's production ruins it..parts of it sound like utter crap.
2 days later. It was so hot!

That was a great show.

I was all excited about this before I realized it wasn't Jerry Lee Lewis.

and I thought it was Jenny Lewis when I first saw it

kinda silly statement on the bio
Jerry Lewis is not just a cultural icon in the U.S. and France, he?s one of ?The Most Recognized Personalities on the Planet,? named so by Newsweek magazine.

if he is one of the most recognized personalities on the planet…why does he even need that in his bio?

And what is this a Fundraiser or is he doing stand up?
Well if they add Peaches and Holographic Herb, sure we can get Will Ferrell guesting with the Starland Vocal Band…

;D

Thus begins the speculation on the "multiple bands"…

Mike Watt
Bob Mould
Oh I dig seeing Mike Watt/Grohl/Eddie Vedder play together like when the Foos did their first tour with Watt.  Hovercraft can stay home, Vedder was pretty ridiculous in his mask behind the drums for that…
Is it worth going to Cracker/Camper if you never got to see them?
Only if Camper is headlining. They're the much more interesting band.

Is there a reason why those two bands are always on the same bill?
