Then it got cloudy and rained as if they made the weather itself depressed.

the weather wasn't depressed, it was angry.  it was a major thunderstorm.  they evacuated the bowl, telling everyone to seek shelter insider.  echo upset the concert gods.
Herbie Hancock must have really upset that tibetan god or sumpin.
i'm really excited for QOTSA, and kinda love this poster.

So, are the band and 930 presale for the QOTSA tickets the same pool, or is there a better password to enter?
Nevermind.  I see the band presale is today and the 930 is tomorrow.
Got 'em!  Row P!  Just what I wanted!
I went with the GA Floor tickets, though I also was trying for seats to see what I could come up with.
Funny, still GA floor tickets left but nothing in the pavilion.
Row K, right center. Ok with those.
everything gone for pit and pavillion.

I prefer pavillion tickets to the General Admission tickets in front.  Most shows you can get the general admission tickets the day of the show.
bunch of old wusses.. floor for me..

;D
I'd be ok with pit tix. My wife wouldn't tho.

I'm old.  I want a seat.  Especially since the douchebag attendance for this show could be high.

For the record, when I saw them in SF this year, the audience was pretty cool. I talked to a bunch of folks near me and  the band's audience has expanded to include some pretty open-minded folks. We were all asking about the types of music we're listening to and it was a pretty huge spectrum. I don't know if that just reflects SF, but the crowd was very enthusiastic. No blabbing, no pushing or shoving…it was nice. I don't think you need to worry too much. When I saw QOTSA in Philly last year at the Made in America festival, I was right by Garren James, the pimp from the TV show Gigolos. And he was actually super nice and we chatted a bunch before and after the set. It was pretty amusing.

Was a mixed bag in Brooklyn last year but probably because the show was free.

My wide says the same thing about seats but let's face it - we're probably gonna be standing either way.

I'm fine with standing!  And good to know about past shows!
