A ridiculous amount.  Forty dollars!  That is just insane.

you're being facetious, right?

The good news is, HTDA only has to be 1/4 as good as Morrisey to be a better value!  WIN!

runner-up for POTW.
No.  I think forty bucks for a band that has one album out is insane.  I also think their album is not great.

Yeah, not everyone likes Morrissey.  I do and he's worth a 50 dollar ticket to me!
it's all relative to the venue, as well.  i tend to think $40 for fillmore is on the cheap side.

likewise, i think $30 for big boi and killer mike at howard is also cheap.
Haven't been to the Fillmore yet.  I think I am just old and still wish shows were 20 bucks.  But, I know that's just me being old school.  And Trent Reznor is definitely a pull, that's for sure.

I go to shows for less than 10 all of the time.  It depends on what you like.  I was hoping the HTDA tickets would be a tiny bit less expensive, I think I am going to have to pass.
Just noticed the concert listing integration with Google calendar and Facebook events. Nicely done  :)

I think that show should be less than 40 bucks.  I still go to 10 dollar shows too, but I'm passing on that one…

I saw Morrissey when he only had one album out.  Definitely would have paid more to see him then now.  But I guess he does some Smiths songs now.  But from seeing his recent shows on TV I think that he is well past his prime.

yeah i have been to a lot of shows where you can bring your own beer, there are 4 or 5 bands and it costs 5 bucks to get in.  Most shows at the ottobar are under 15 bucks…  A lot of times the higher the price of the show the worse the performance holds true too.

I disagree.  His band is tight, he sounds great, and the song selection is varied.  This last show wasn't the best setlist I've seen, but it's still awesome to see him.
I just hope he doesn't make us watch that livestock video again.  Major buzzkill.

agreed.
somewhere without a link, i will ask a simple question on the pimlico thing.  and without dumb saw it coming comments on the bands playing . . . is the thing worth going to, all and all?

which one?  there now appear to be two pimlico event, one with the Goo Goo Dolls and two soon to be annouced bands

and

the one with Pitbull, whose apperences should be limited to award shows and "live" New Year Eve shows, and those dudes that do the "Thirft Store" rap.
on Facebook Pitbull shows up on the post about Goo Goo Dolls..evidently a mistake

interesting… is this part of a festival or some other celebration they're having at FD?

i just might trek up for this.  i doubt this will sell out so could be a game-time decision.
Boo to Depeche Mode at stupid JLL.  BUT, I can't skip it this time.
Ive seen vague mentions of the Dave Mann/9th and Beats split… Anyone have any details?  Also the Nightmare Air show… Seems to be multiple days listed, and it still says 9th and Beats (though Showlistdc i think your calendar have them listed on the day they are supposed to play in Norfolk, whose bill i WISH we had with SVI and Ceremony also on there).
depeche mode has always played there.  like how the b52s will only play wolftrap for some reason.

I know.  I didn't go last time and regretted it.  But, that place seriously is bad!
