I am laughing heartily at you being chased and bullied in other forums.

tony visconti & woody woodmansey perform 'the man who sold the world'.

this sounds interesting, any feedback it's worth seeing?
If this setlist is any indicator, sounds great
but no DB or MR…seems odd
Mick's kids are involved, so that is kinda cool

I do like this line The most over-qualified Bowie tribute band play the whole of The Man Who Sold the World
boy I haven't been to the birchmere in so long…

maybe like liz phair like 2005… looking back an amazing set list

I think that horribly annoying dude Jason Pzazz opened before he went all stratosphere but we skipped him

looking back the last time I saw her was 2008 when she did exile in guyville

I saw Jorge ben at the birchmere… right now can't think of anything else I've seen there in like the past 15 or so years… kind of shocking but then again maybe not….

I think we saw  Jay Farrar and Dr John (separately) in the early 2000's there

I saw plenty of shows there in the 90s…including Farrar (not Dr John)
What do you think the chances are of Carrie Brownstein/Sleater-Kinney making an appearance at the all songs considered show?
i cant understand the sleater kinney kult that is out there.  oh yes . . . it is, a kult.
Me either.  I am not a fan.
Their album that came out this year… I think its a lot weaker than most people seem to….

I agree with this. That said, their two classic LPs are really classic. That said redux, I don't see this cult.

It feels weird to be penciling in a mid-week concert for 8 months from now.

You should elevate your status by attending some classical concerts. Whole seasons are announced all at once. Elite talent is booked years in advance.

I have been a subscriber to the Richmond Symphony's masterworks for 5 years. None of those are mid-week, to be fair, but your point is still well-placed.
I saw Marvin Hamlisch once!

BOOM!

wow its been a while since Vivaldi hit DC…

I'd be up for it if Seth could get Ravel at the club….maybe a "surprise at the club" show? not sure how hot he is these days.. I'd hate to see him downgraded to U St. Hall..

Playing Bolero from beginning to end. . .
If you've never heard "The Rite of Spring" live by a professional orchestra, here's your next chance.

Sadly, Igor can't make it.
