What the hell were you expecting??  PTA presidents?  Organizers of park cleanups on Earth Day?  Winners of pie baking contests?  They're fucking addicts, metalhead aliens who live a completely surreal lifestyle.  Of course they're not active, engaged citizens concerned with the welfare of their communities.

Julian is probably afraid to walk across the VCU campus at night.
"I avoid VCU's campus for a completely different set of reasons, you dick!"

I picture Julian at UR lounging while overlooking the lake "Waiter, Jones, whatever your name is, could you kindly get me a drink and goddammit why is nobody fanning me?  Also, don't forget to walk the chihuahua…."
I don't have a dog.

I did eat on UofRs campus this week.

The awful acoustics of that place just made him sound 10x worse.

yeah…i'm pissed… other cities got nice theaters..multiple night stands..we get one show in the crappiest venue….boo….i'm surely going to have to pass….i don't believe there is even an opening act..its going to be about $160 for the best seats… at DAR…unreal….at least when he played Verizon he had Mark Knopfler opening..

is this an IMP promoted show?
well at least this time it is not a double bill with some other guy playing as long as him.

I've never been able to see him in a theater, so it is doesn't look that bad compared to the arena shows I've seen. I guess I could also go to Philly, although I don't really need to see 3 shows in a row.

The one time I saw Dylan the "other guy" was Joni Mitchell.

I love Dylan, but I'm with you on this.  What a horrible venue for him.  He's hit or miss anyway and has been for decades.  I think I'm going to try to make a New York trip for the Beacon though.

I can't be the only one who now wants a Before Sunrise-esque Hutch and Walkie parody now.

At College Park?  That was a great show.

I also saw him with Paul Simon, which was pretty much one of the best shows ever.
Making my 930 Club debut! After going to the Club for well over a decade I am finally going to be playing! Such a dream come true!

I'll be opening for the Steez Promo presents Sound Remedy and Tincup show! Weeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!

That's the one. At the time it was the highest price I ever paid for a ticket ($40 in 1998 if I remember correctly) but most definitely worth it!
I made  a train stop one time to see Bob Dylan…i took this amtrak train thinking it would stop in newark delaware where bob was playing .. then i realized oops..this train is bound for wilmington…so i asked the ticket collector and he had the train stop just past the stop for newark, delaware (didn't want it to seem to obvious)…he was not too pleased….i hopped out on the tracks!

i saw the bob/joni tour in chicago (worst seat ever due to my friend having gotten the tickets)… and in atlanta at georgia tech….much better…

I have to say joni could not have been less crowd pleasing…. i think that was her first tour in a long while and last tour…

i also think that in chicago dave alvin opened which was cool

Sounds like there could have been blood on the tracks.
