I love Seal.  So?

You love AC/DC - one of the lamest bands of all time.

worst festival in the history of festivals?
I'd say its an even mix of crap and decent stuff. I would need to see how the days break down If I were to go to such a thing. It kinda reminds me of HFStivals of old. I would see AiC, The Cult, Ghost, Killswitch Engage, Anthrax, Baroness, Sevendust, Max & Igor, Letlive., Skindred and Death Angel.

I would be curious about Slayer as I feel they are not really Slayer anymore. I have been calling them "The Kerry King Jagermeister Music Hour" for a few years now. Maybe I'm wrong and they are still killer?

I might be into seeing Chevelle (who I saw at almost every HFS and DC101 event I ever went to..Ozzfest too) but have not seen them in over 10 years.

The Offspring used to be fun live but again, I have not seen them in over 10 years and their output has been garbage for longer than that.

The rest of that line up is either stuff I never heard of (Chevy Metal? Dinosaur Pile Up?) or some of the worst rock music ever (Hellyeah, Buckcherry, Sick Puppies, Avenged Sevenfold, etc)

Jim Breuer & The Loud & Rowdy? is he in a band? what is that?
I think that until looking at this flyer I aways thought that Sevendust and Avenged Sevenfold were the same band.  I didn't know there were two seven bands.

PS - Offspring is horrible and always have been.

Chevy Metal is Taylor Hawkins classic rock cover band

Great, another show only the rich and well-connected will get tickets to.

It's musical theatre and Hamilton is a BFD. The KC's subscription system will probably be the only way to score tickets, and it's damned expensive. When you consider that Hamilton is the first hip hop-based musical theatre work to be a major hit, then it looks especially heinous that only the rich and their connections will get tickets. How's that for cultural appropriation?

BTW, the Kennedy Center is a national park. If the management's sales tactics favor only a small percentage of the citizenry then the system needs to be fixed.

(And I don't even want to see it. I'm not into musical theatre and I'm sick of the hype.)
And according to the Post this morning (if I read it correctly), if you want to pre-order Hamilton tickets, you have to buy a full season subscription for this year – and the following year! That is messed up.

Technically, you don't have to but subscriptions for the next season may sell out because subscribers get first crack at Hamilton, and current-season subscribers have first crack at subs for next season. Therefore, if you want to see Hamilton, you've been behooved.
Like this guy!

^Atomic!  ;D
