Which part of the bible, New Testament or Old? I haven't been to a Christian church in 35 years, but I'm pretty Christianity is based on the New Testament, and not the Old (?)

I'll condemn the act every Christian who kills a non-Christian in the name of their religion. I'm no fan if Christianity.

judaism = the old testament only (over-simplification, i know)
christianity = old + new. 

jesus said "i come not to destroy the old testament, but to complete it".  if you're a christian, you believe in the old testament as (also) being the word of god.  when christians talk about being gay is an abomination, that's straight outta the old testament.
