I went to a show about a month ago at Runaway.
Two floors, but the music doesn't really reach upstairs, so kind of reverse Velvet Lounge.
They're trying to be a brunch/coffee spot along with a bar, so here's hoping that works for them.
I watched a friend's band from the stairwell, and from there the vocals were a little washed out.
Nice vibe though and there's a back patio so that's quaint.
Easy access on that evening (a Saturday night) with lots of parking and from where I live, about a 20 min. drive.
Probably going to see another friend towards the end of the month, a Thursday, so we'll see what the neighborhood is like then.
